Congrats! Looks like there's still hope for the rest of the August folk 🙂

The last two batches of IIs have come with admissions decisions. Officially nervous :scared:
 
For those interested in available dates: There was a December date available early this morning which was no longer there when I looked two hours later. I had four dates to chose from between 1/30-2/8 I believe.

Yikes that's getting concerning- don't they only interview through February?

Ahhh these are my stats too.... Was really hoping for a Feinberg and I keep missing interview waves-- 🙁

They didn't give out their interview dates (well one did), but generally deferrals go out after acceptances do. 🙁
 
Congrats to both of you! I'm going on six weeks now and still have no decision. Feinberg, you're killing me, I love you 🙁

Odd, they seemed pretty adamant about the 4-6 weeks thing. Maybe on Thursday? Only 2 acceptances were posted and no deferrals, which seems pretty low for a couple months of interviews (or at least a month worth) to be evaluated. Maybe it was just a small batch. Or the deferral train is coming later this week. :scared:

I agree, the number of acceptances has been low. I'm remaining optimistic for now, and even the last "deferral train" had acceptances too... But the waiting is torturous, for sure. Might send them a message if I don't hear anything this week.

Optimism is key right now!! Interviewed the week of 10/22 and hoping for some news soon. Congrats to those of you who heard back today! Good luck to everyone else awaiting decisions and IIs!
 
weird. i interviewed 11/16 and heard back 12/4. I did send 2 app updates though--maybe that forwarded my app to the earlier pile? my guess is as good as yours.

That is a bit odd, isn't it? Mine was pretty quick turnaround as well.

There was a 10/24 acceptance in the first round, though it sounds like that last week in October is still in the dark. You never really know with this stuff. Best of luck, guys! :luck::xf:

I sent an update as well, so I'm not sure this is it. Here's hoping they just haven't yet reviewed the bulk of us from that week, for one reason or another... All of this hypothesizing is making me nervous again. :scared:

I need closure so I can get back to enjoying my break. Fingers crossed for Thursday...

Which email do you send the updates to? Just the main admissions one?
 
interviewed 11/19 and accepted 12/4. I was super surprised because they said 6-8 weeks. I didn't send any updates either!

super excited, first acceptance!

3.85 and 34 mcat, not URM

You could always call and ask them since you're over the 6 week mark...

If they don't reply to you this week there'll be a 3 week dead period for Christmas break, so might be worth it.

Silly question... but does anybody know how to access the submitted secondary after you've interviewed? I don't even remember what I submitted in my secondary and now all I can see is the names of my interviewers...haha

Next Tuesday is two weeks since the last batch and the 18th doesn't seem too late for a meeting. In any case I don't think it's unreasonable that there will be one more set of decisions before the holidays.

I've emailed them and they said that 4-6 weeks is an estimate and it can sometimes take longer. I think it's safe to say we'll hear whenever they meet next.
 
Sorry if this has been asked but is it worth while to send a post interview pre decision letter of intent? Northwestern is definitely my top choice but should I wait until some sort of decision is made?

I asked a faculty member at Feinberg about this after my interview, and got this response--

"I think letters of interest are fine. Dean Wallace generally welcomes hearing from students of their continued enthusiasm and interest – as long as its genuine."

It was probably just coincidental, but I got my acceptance the day after sending my LOI. 🙂
 
Did you email it directly to Dr. Wallace or the admissions office directed to Dr. Wallace? Thanks!

I'd imagine sending it to the general admissions address and asking them to add it to your file would make the most sense. That way, the whole committee sees it. Someone else can confirm this.
 
omg, just accepted via email!!!! wasn't expecting it all, i just interviewed on 12/5!
 
Complete in late August/early September and haven't received anything since. Decided to send an update (which they have subsequently added to my file) earlier today, hoping for some good news in the coming weeks!
 
Just found an acceptance email in my inbox!! Did not expect that so soon. Everyone who interviewed on Dec 3, you were awesome and I hope you all hear good news too.

Deferred as well 🙁. Interviewed week of 11/5.

But congrats to those who were accepted and hopefully we can join you in March! 😀
