Did everyone get their II in the morning or has it been spread across the day?
 
It's awesome. The faculty is extremely involved and accessible, and it's clear they care a great deal about the students. The MS2s are incredible.

The only bad thing is driving to campus in the morning. The roads and traffic patterns are a mess and very backed up in the morning.

I have a room with 2 queen beds for 9/29 at the Hilton Garden Inn on campus. Anyone interested in sharing?

If you're staying at a hotel, check if they have a free shuttle service. I know that when I interviewed a year and a half ago, I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn, which had a shuttle service 😀

Oh awesome! Thank you for the suggestion. Did you tip the driver or is that not necessary?

hey back to the complete question. all my letters and secondaries were in to AMCAS by 8/5/14, but according to my status, they say that they haven't received my LORs yet. should i be worried yet? or should i be waiting longer for the status page to update to be complete?

I don't remember how long it took them to update my status, but i'd suggest emailing or calling them about. Doesn't hurt to double check.

I think they are just very backed up. I'm in the same situation

Honestly I don't remember.. I might have but not heavily. Mostly I just remember chatting with them about what it was like to live in Albany, etc :x
 
i submitted my secondary more than a week ago. and i haven't been updated to complete yet. i think they haven't downloaded my letters from amcas…….anyone know how long this usually takes?
 
I called yesterday, been complete since like 8/8, they say they haven't got to app yet to make it complete, can be until the end of next week. It probably takes a while

I submitted 8/5 as well (after deliberating for two weeks...) and I have just been marked complete (everything says yes finally!).
 
I waited eleven days after getting the payment confirmation e-mail, and it still said incomplete.

Gave a call (let them know I was just checking in because even though I knew it was a busy year, it had happened to me in the past where a school didn't let me know they were still waiting for something/sort of glitch, and I wanted to make sure... just not trying to sound too demanding).

She let me know that my profile was fine. She also decided to just put in in the stack of profiles she was working on that day because she had it up already. So... bonus.
 
I also have a room at the Garden in on campus with two Queens for the nights of 9/29 and 9/30 if anyone wants to share! Message me!
 
Also looking to share a room before an 8/6 interview. I have 2 queen beds (had to change my original booking due to not being 21. Ah the troubles of youth). Right on campus. Male preferred but I'm flexible in a pinch.

We will be sitting at our retirement chair, 160+ years old, at the beach of Hawaii, telling our great great grand children, how much fun we had gone through of taking MCAT and had the once of life time experience to know John wherever the school you applied.

Didn't apply! I might be naive since I've never heard about that prompt, but then again there are no UC schools in my future 🙂

I think it took over a week, maybe close to 2, but I don't entirely remember. But it changed to an interview invite pretty quickly after that!
 
So are MMI interviews at schools all the same? Do they all use scenarios, or do some use regular questions? What will Albany do?

They say 10 business days, but mine was a few days after... If you feel like you should call, call! (One school didn't mark me complete bc they needed another document from me but the school never contacted me about it... Sometimes it's worth it to call)

I posted this earlier, but I was in the same boat. I waited 11 days (as their site says to give them 10) before I called. When I called I asked about the status of my application, asking if anything was missing (explaining that I know this year is very busy but I wanted to check, as another medical school had had an issue with my application that lead to delays).

She assured me it was fine, but because I called in the morning she decided to just grab my application and add it to her afternoon stack. I did this last Friday, and when I checked this morning everything was complete.

Thank you, I called and left a message, it's times like these where I begin to doubt all the secondaries I sent in and whether they've been received (even after seeing complete messages several times over on their sites). The things that waiting can do to you...

I was complete on 7/25 and still don't have a yes for Complete. Thank you for the info. I will give them a call tomorrow.
 
MS I here, just got in and started school a couple weeks ago. Feel free to PM me and ask me any questions.
 
Again, anyone looking to share a room in Albany the nights of both 9/29 and 9/30?
 
Anyone submit their app around the second week of August and is marked complete on their status?
