My friend is an M1 and said they don't have second look.
Anyone know if VTC takes update/interest letters? And if so who do we send em to?

There was no second look last year, but we were offered tours by students as long as we contacted admissions and arranged it--I went on mine when I was up there looking for housing. I have heard rumbles of putting together a second look, but I don't know when/if it would actually be put into place. I hope that helps!
Just received an II for February! So excited as I thought the interview season was basically over.

I got an interview here yesterday for February! I really like the small class size.
I got an II today I feel like its too late in the cycle

Dude, I'm pretty sure the last interview date is the 21st. We both lucked out. : O Last cycle, they waited until the day of the interview to mass send rejection.
When is the acceptance date (rough estimate) for the last batch of interview dates?

Also, is it okay to skip the reception? I won't be able to make it. It doesn't negatively affect us, right?

Tell me about it! This weekend was perfect. I'm driving from St. Louis and all I see is a wintery mix on Saturday night...

We down here in the Mid-Atlantic/ South can't deal with snow 😛
I'm from the DC area and growing up, we had school canceled for half an inch of snow or less.
The Feb 21st interview is rescheduled because of inclement weather.
(current M1 here)--don't fret about the reschedule guys, we just have been having a lot of winter weather this week that Roanoke doesn't exactly have the infrastructure to deal with, so they are probably just trying to make sure there are no flight cancellations/everyone makes it, as this is the last interview date. I know last year there were problems with flight cancellations due to winter weather (our airport closes easily). What does stink is that it is now scheduled for the start of my class' spring break, so less of us will be able to make the mixer! 🙁 If you cannot make the mixer the night before, it shouldn't affect your application, but I recommend going if you can. You can meet students in an informal setting, ask them questions, and truthfully that is what sold me the school. Good luck! If you have any other questions, ask away.
I don't remember the last time I posted. I signed in just to say I was making a weekend out of this interview trip! I'm a VT alumni and made plans down in Blacksburg the day before! I left Northern Virginia drove about 1.5 hours on 81 and had a strange feeling I should check my email. After reading, I pulled a U-turn and had to make some phone calls XD! It'll happen another weekend though!

Anyone know if the reschedule will affect when decisions go out for the last group?
