Haha, I'm gonna fly in from DCA and take Megabus back just because the drive was so awful for me last year. The trip is up and down mountains along scary roads on cliffs so at night, it was terrifying. And considering how much gas costs, the price is pretty comparable assuming WVU is still implementing their overnight MedStay program for the interview.
^That's exactly what Google suggested (the flying from Pittsburgh), but I'm going to pray I get some interview invites during that time to other places in the area too like VCU 🙂
^I wonder if I'll see those mountains if I come down driving from Pittsburgh. I remember seeing them on road trips as a young girl and freaking out so much-- if there's the slightest of ice on those roads, I'd feel like anyone on them would plummet to a horrid death.
You will definitely see mountains on the drive from Pittsburgh. They're not so bad except for all the trucks on the road! Last year I drove back from Pittsburgh (that's where I'm from) in a big snow storm and ended up in wreck, it wasn't very fun. I'm not much of a snow driver though so I'm sure most people would have made it fine. In the fall though it'll be clear and the scenery is really nice!

Yeah that was the concern! Since they interview so many OOS apps, it's probably better to interview as early as possible!
From my understanding this isn't necessarily the case. I think they put all the OOS waitlisters (which is almost all of OOSers) into a pile and look at them all again when spots open up in the spring. I wouldn't stress about later interviews at all!

I had posted this earlier. They changed the format for the banner app from sending it via email to sending it directly through the page, like other parts of the application.
Yeah, apparently they changed it from mail-->email-->electronically through their website. If you got an II already, I'm sure they received it.
No, I never received one. If your don't get an II in one weeks time, contact admissions via email to see if they received everything.
Did anyone ever figure out the stars for OOS interviewed/OOS accepted (and not just matriculated)?

it's possible that many of those who were selected for interview withdrew before a decision was made or did not show up to the interview to begin with.
If they say it I'd just try to do it. I submitted the secondary 7 days after and I wish I did it the next day.
I am asking because I've already gone past my 2 week deadline. I was wondering if they would still consider me if I submitted.
