I have another interview on Wednesday.... Haha I hope the answer doesn't influence my attitude that day!

Just got waitlisted via email. Anyone else in that boat? So if you don't get an email you may get an acceptance call this evening. Good luck to everyone. Share the good news if you can.

well I'm OOS so I'm assuming it moves a little slower for us. but hopefully!
 
Has anyone who interviewed this past Friday heard anything yet?
 
Does anyone know if there is a priority waitlist this year? And the chances of getting off the waitlist for OOS?
 
Wait list is not ranked, from that they said last week.

I haven't gotten an email or phone call yet... Dear lordy... If nothing else this whole interview process is teaching all the various forms of stressful suspension and how to handle it all without imploding!!

I have no clue. From what I read in the email the waitlist is not ranked. Chances of getting off? My guess is that it moves pretty fast but the minds of adcoms remains a mystery to me. Good luck! CMU seems like a nice school. It's still figuring out the basics but they have a lot going for them. The town is nice, clean and seems cozy. What I found surprising is that you have to pretty much go to Saginaw, across the state, for years 3 and 4. While this is not unusual for schools to send people off to other areas I was surprised by the lack of relationships within the area. Please correct me if I am wrong.

No news is good news! Maybe you'll get a phone call tonight. I hope the best for you.
 
Interviewed 12/4, no email... So nervous I can hardly focus at work.

Wait list, hold, reject are all emailed. Only acceptance is phone call... from what they said last week Friday.

Just don't know if all the emails are sent out at the same time...

And do we have any kind of verification December 4th interviewers were notified of anything today? Waitlist, hold, rejection? Any acceptance calls from this interview group??

On the phone, I was told that they had a long list of people to call and that the official acceptance email won't come until tomorrow. I think there are two people working on it. So I would guess phone calls today and with some emails throughout, but most will probably be tomorrow.

I haven't seen any from Dec. 4 say acceptance... but during our MMI we were told to expect to hear back about our results today.

But all phone calls will be made by today, correct?

Yes, they did say that. I was just hoping they didn't decide to wait to evaluate our group until the next meeting or something lol.

Me neither! It is just driving me crazy. I saw last year people were sometimes not getting calls until 7pm and 9pm? I just want to know my fate already!! Lol.

Agreed!!! If they call you first, ask if they sent out the reject/hold emails this morning along with the wait list emails... would be awesome to know, even if we hear nothing else tonight.

Sure thing! Same goes for you and anyone else... Please keep us all updated!

I read last year those emails were sent out at the same time, but it could change, you never know. Let's just try our very best to be patient. :/
 
After people are accepted do you know how long they have to accept the offer? I'm thinking that maybe I will get a II when they know how many students they're working with. ( positive thinking).

You typically have 10-14 days to accept offers but you can hold more than one offer until April 30. Then you must decide on one. So around April 15 lists can move rapidly.

Hopefully ,some people that have other offers, will decline acceptance if they really know that they're not going to attend. That would free up some offers for others that may want to attend.
