Wrong thread for what are my chancesGuys, quick two questions for you all.
1. Ivy league, 3.8 (Science & over all GPA), 39 MCAT, decent ECs, and decent recs. What's my chances in Dartmouth? How huge is interview performance?
2. What do they look for in the interview?
Thanks all in advance.
Hang in there @LordxRequiem ! I've been there... and it's not the end of the world if you have to reapply, I promise. But I'm crossing my fingers for you (and myself)! For me it's the thought of having to do this all over again

After lots of anxious waiting, I finally got the acceptance email this morning!!! Good luck to all of you still waiting...I'm rooting for you all!
Thanks! I interviewed about two months ago in mid-January. Also I know this had been previously asked on here, I called and they said Second Look is scheduled for April 22nd and 23rd. Hope that helps!Congratulations!! Would you mind sharing your interview timeframe?
New to this thread. Interviewed in mid-Feb and no word yet.Nobody from late Feb/early March has heard?

Just out of curiosity - how many people accepted here who aren't from top 25 ugrad/ivy league? I'm worried that being from state school might be working against me 🙁. I remember the student host list being very ivy league heavy, as well as most of the students I met on interview day

When did you get the email? And congrats 🙂I didn't go to a state school, but my undergrad was neither Top 25 nor Ivy...so there's some others like us! Hang in there!
Based on last year's thread it was primarily one large wave of waitlists in Mid-March...When did you get the email? And congrats 🙂
Confused - I thought there'd be waves of acceptances every week, but obviously not.....

But when and how did the acceptances come out? 😛 just want to know either way, have some certainty in my life (if Dartmouth rejects me I am getting a kitten)Based on last year's thread it was primarily one large wave of waitlists in Mid-March...

They are still interviewing this weekIt seems so odd that there hasn't been a "wave" of responses in March… hope for Dartmouth feels like it's slipping away! Aren't there a LOT of us who haven't heard back yet? I interviewed in early Feb and am still waiting.
i interviewed in Oct and still waiting...
They are still interviewing this week
They did say that they pretty much immediately accept their "top tier" applicants and push second tier decisions to later in the cycle. So is it safe to say that folks who interviewed prior to say January are relegated to the waitlist pile? The only acceptances I'm seeing are from interviews that took place about a month or two (at most) prior to the date of the acceptance notification.
i interviewed in sept. so i prob have a lower overall score compared to people who just interviewed and were accepted. im just hoping my score isnt too low.So is it safe to say that folks who interviewed prior to say January are relegated to the waitlist pile? Boy they're interviewing next week too? At this rate I'll be filling out my 2016 AMCAS before I hear back.I was offered an interview March 17th or 24th, so I guess interviews are still going till the end of March, if not April.
By the sounds of it, they're very careful to not over accept. I wouldn't be too worriedi interviewed in sept. so i prob have a lower overall score compared to people who just interviewed and were accepted. im just hoping my score isnt too low.
geez Dartmouth why don't you try giving decisions to the people you already interviewed instead of interviewing more this lateJust received an interview invitation this morning for March 24th. Will be turning it down - hope it goes to one of you!
