Does anyone know if we can send them updates post-interview?
 
anyone happen to know what percentage of the class (or rather total number of acceptances they send out) theyve already offered acceptances for?
 
Any intel on when those who have heard nothing may hear something? Should be soon, no?

No idea! However, I do know that there are ~90 people in the Facebook group, but at least 20 of those people are current medical students.

I think they do semi rolling/block acceptances. I think the next batch is in march so I guess a lot of jan/feb people will know then.

Hmm I guess that would not take into account a lot of people who don't have facebook/may not check this site for the facebook group. Are not many people accepting?

I am also interviewing Friday! I will see you there, hopefully! The tips I got were to not overstress; if you mess up in one section, you have other sections to start off new and adjust. I hope it won't be too cold, really would hate to carry my jacket around.
 
For those waiting, new sets of decisions should be going out around march. How's everyone feeling after the interview today? Feeling somewhere in the middle about how I did.

Do you know if that's the beginning or end of March? It hasn't been long since I interviewed but the suspense is driving me crazy. These scholarship emails aren't helping much either.

Dunno Lol, they were just saying sometime in march. I assume probably after the last interview date? Or maybe before??

At my interview they said we should hear back the first week in March. Hopefully that's true!
 
Anyone have an idea of when the ad com meet up to decide who's accepted, wait listed, rejected?

I know decisions come in early-mid March, I just wanted to know if they already got together and discussed who will matriculate or not. Thanks all.

Does anyone know how late RWJMS interviews until? I know it says March in their email, but how late in March?

Last one listed on the email sent in early December was 3/4. Although I do not know if they added/removed dates. Good luck!

Question about the MMI. Are we allowed to jot some things down on a notebook?

you have 2 minutes to read over the scenario before you go into the room. unfortunately you can't take notes

Thank you for your response. Do the people inquire follow up questions or are you just expected to give your answer and then walk out.

I am sure you'd be able to ask follow up/clarifying questions! Also, they will give you a copy of the scenario inside the room to reference, so no need to worry!
 
Anyone who interviewed in February hear back yet? I thought they told my batch that we'd hear back first week of March (or maybe it was early March?). ::threadlurking::

I interviewed early January, and they told us we'd hear back early March. But, when I called them a few weeks later, they said we'd hear back late March.

If I had to guess, it's gonna be mid-March. Today was the last interview day (as far as I know), so give them a week or so to review those applicants. And then we should hear back.

Has anyone called this week or heard anything at the interview day yesterday about when admissions will meet to discuss applicants/when we will all hear back?
 
Hey, for those accepted did you feel like your MMI went perfectly? I feel like on some of the stations I connected really well. On others, I felt somewhat unsure.

I was in the same boat. I felt confident about 4 of my stations and iffy about 2 others.
 
Has anyone who interviewed from January on been accepted already? Just want to know if I should be holding on to any hope at this point. My friend and people in previous class seemed to get the phone call fairly quickly and I have heard nothing. Interviewed early Jan

Hey Medeq,

RWJMS does block admissions. They had one in mid-December. Since you interviewed late Jan, they will not give you a notification until mid to late March. Given what you have stated, I think you might be referring to a Rutgers NJMS.

No my friend interviewed in December and got called a week later, I guess bc she was at the end of that block? A current m1 interviewed in jan and got called about 6 weeks later in mid Feb. That's why I'm wondering even though I know they are supposed to do block admissions.

I don't think they did block admissions last year. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
