Congrats to everyone that heard back that they are waitlisted. I know it's not exactly the answer we all want to hear, but it's great that you're still in the running.

I was wondering, were you guys notified by email or snail mail regarding waitlist status? I'm just wondering bc of that mysterious snail mail letter that haeseonii mentioned they were going to get.

Not sure if I'm allowed to say this but I recently spoke to a reliable SMS source who said she overheard in the office this week that they have only around 100 more interview slots left to give for the year. Take that to mean what it will. Good luck all

I doubt it. I know this is not the answer you want to hear, but another friend of mine has mentioned that admissions is understaffed this year. So my best guess is that they've already made decisions, but haven't had the people-power to update everyone's statuses

I do not, sorry. From my experience behind the scenes, application review processes are really random; there's no really knowing how they do things.

Is anyone else unable to login to the MMI website? I'm using the username/password they provided along with the interview information but it's not allowing me to login, even though the same credentials worked ~1 week ago. 🙁

Don't know if it helps anyone, I interviewed 10/9 and got a phone call last Thursday for acceptance (voice mail, I missed it since it was 8PM). They said they would mail me a packet, but I'm not living at home right now so I haven't seen it. Also no email yet.

At 10/15 interview, we were told it was the 5th date. From these posts it looks like 5 dates have already heard back: 9/17, 9/22, 9/23, 10/6, and 10/9. So I'm hoping 10/15 is next!

Interviewed November 3rd. Got an email saying that the Dean tried to call me but couldn't reach me (I'm out of the country), and when I called back I was informed of the acceptance.

LizzyM 77-78 (new MCAT), significant research w/ pub, strong ECs and leadership, club athletics, prestigious national post-grad fellowship, etc.

For the record, although I tend to interview very well and felt excellent about 8/10 of the MMIs, there was one that I felt really unsure about and another that I had to sortof wing. Just goes to show that you can flub 1-2 MMI stations and still be fine, haha.

My $0.02, when I interviewed we were told that we would be notified in January. So I really was not expecting to hear so early. I have no idea why they would go out of order, but my group was definitely told that decisions would mostly go out by the end of January. Maybe they managed to get through apps a lot faster than anticipated, but I doubt it?

Very curious. I'm hoping it has to do something with Christmas coming up and they're trying to 'catch up' or something and just haven't called Oct 15. Probably waitlisted/rejected though. Lol.

I dont monitor my portal that closely. someone in this forum said that after the interview they apparently added the withdraw tab.
