Ugh.... Don't know if I can handle waiting to hear back from them
just get notified that I'm in waitlist now, at least still have some chance! interview date 9/23
Not sure if I'm allowed to say this but I recently spoke to a reliable SMS source who said she overheard in the office this week that they have only around 100 more interview slots left to give for the year. Take that to mean what it will. Good luck all

I can confirm that. My friend @avgn just interviewed here recently, and he was told the same
Congrats to everyone that heard back that they are waitlisted. I know it's not exactly the answer we all want to hear, but it's great that you're still in the running.
I was wondering, were you guys notified by email or snail mail regarding waitlist status? I'm just wondering bc of that mysterious snail mail letter that haeseonii mentioned they were going to get.
Do either of you know whether they have gone (or will they go) back to applications submitted much earlier in the cycle?
I doubt it. I know this is not the answer you want to hear, but another friend of mine has mentioned that admissions is understaffed this year. So my best guess is that they've already made decisions, but haven't had the people-power to update everyone's statuses
I do not, sorry. From my experience behind the scenes, application review processes are really random; there's no really knowing how they do things.Do either of you know whether they have gone (or will they go) back to applications submitted much earlier in the cycle?
Is anyone else unable to login to the MMI website? I'm using the username/password they provided along with the interview information but it's not allowing me to login, even though the same credentials worked ~1 week ago. 🙁
I just need one..love me Stanford..or not..Not sure if I'm allowed to say this but I recently spoke to a reliable SMS source who said she overheard in the office this week that they have only around 100 more interview slots left to give for the year. Take that to mean what it will. Good luck all
Hahah email! Thank god, that would have been the most disappointing phone call everThat means you're still in the running! Did you hear via email or phone call?
+1 anyone know if this date is next or if there was one in between? So is 10/15 the next interview date to hear?
Me too! Did Dr. Gibbs mention when we can expect the email/mail? I was too emotionally overwhelmed to ask when she called
Hope this is helpful to all.
II: 8-15
IA: 9-22
A: 11-19 (phone call)
Does anyone know a contact number that actually works for Stanford? Every time I call, I'm directed to a line that goes straight to the individual's voicemail...
This makes me nervous. I also interviewed on 10/6 and haven't heard, oh well.
ACCEPTED AFJDL;ASDFJLA;FJKDSK;SAJFSD;
Interviewed November 3rd. Got an email saying that the Dean tried to call me but couldn't reach me (I'm out of the country), and when I called back I was informed of the acceptance.
SO HAPPY

For the record, although I tend to interview very well and felt excellent about 8/10 of the MMIs, there was one that I felt really unsure about and another that I had to sortof wing. Just goes to show that you can flub 1-2 MMI stations and still be fine, haha.
Same here...It took me quite a long time to receive a secondary. I completed it right away, and haven't heard anything since.
No, you?Oct. 15th interviewee's any news?
Just wondering if there is anyone like me who interviewed oct 6 hasn't heard back yet?
What does it mean if we get skipped over?
Nope no news.No, you?
My $0.02, when I interviewed we were told that we would be notified in January. So I really was not expecting to hear so early. I have no idea why they would go out of order, but my group was definitely told that decisions would mostly go out by the end of January. Maybe they managed to get through apps a lot faster than anticipated, but I doubt it?Nope no news.
Stanford so far has been going in order giving out acceptances and have been releasing waitlists in groups. so either no one on SDN who interviewed on 10/15 got in, and we'll all get waitlist/rejections probably next week. or for some reason they went out of order and processed November 3rd first. The latter seems more unlikely, because that's a pretty big leap
