How long did it take you guys to get payment confirmation/ secondary submitted confirmation? I submitted payment/ app today and see that the charge is already on my card but I haven't gotten any emails.. Checked spam.

payment confirmation is usually immediate and application submission is usually a few days after

I'm doing a research/thesis-based master's and the website says for current graduate students, "Students in a degree-granting program must submit a letter of recommendation from a graduate advisor or department chairperson. This letter is in addition to the Health Professions Advisor or Committee letter for undergraduate students."

Is a graduate advisor the same as your thesis supervisor/PI? I have from my PI... Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm from Canada (we call our PI's thesis supervisors but I have no idea if that's the graduate advisor or a separate position).

when I check the status of my application, it shows my application but under the application preference it says not entered. Is there something I forgot to do or do others have this as well?

Wasn't anything there for me either. Don't worry 🙂 it might be for when they ask your preference of campus later on.

It says "Please ignore the Application Preference section below" on the portal.

The email was apparently sent around 2PM, but I received it around 6PM. Their emails in general have been somewhat glitchy; I've received complete confirmations days later that went
straight to my spam folder. Make sure to check your spam folders!

How long did it take for you guys to get a completed email? I've checked my junk folder and there is nothing, I submitted 8/4 and still nothing. I'm not sure how I can view its progress as it says its a "processed application" on the portal.

took mine a little over a week, so don't stress. they probably have a real life human being go through your file to ensure everything is loaded

I know there were technical issues the middle of last month but I was wondering if they got it fixed up yet. My application was verified 8/4 and I've gotten secondaries for everywhere but here and I'm starting to get anxious... I'm a SU alum and Upstate is my top choice!

I put in the AMCAS grade, but that was the same as my transcripts anyway.
