It doesn't give me any dates ..all I remember is that as soon as I was no longer under review, my status said I was on hold for re-review.

Yeah fair enough. I had to go through my post hx to find my on hold date haha. Well fingers crossed for ya 🙂

well i'm flying from california and will have a layover in DC the following weekend for another interview in virginia so am trying to move this one. i think my lizzy m score is ~69 but definitely not a testament to what i've done outside of academics.

Ahh so you went straight from complete to hold for re-review too? That happened to me as well, like literally overnight.

I believe send through AMCAS and then write an update on the portal that the letter was sent.... someone can correct me if I am wrong though

Nope, no hold I had the same status from when i as completed which was early September.

A bunch of us, I'm just hoping it's a glitch and we all get acceptances on Monday 😉 they sent out quite a few rejections today as well. Plus from past years it seems there is quite a bit of waitlist movement at GW, there's hope for us yet!

I peeked at least year's thread and it seemed like the majority of non-acceptances were thrown on the waitlist and that there was not much waitlist movement at all. I'm not trying to be a downer here but I'm having trouble staying positive, given the fact that I got waitlisted today

Exactly why I just went ahead and withdrew. It seems that the only rejections are pre-II. I didn't see the need to remain on WL purgatory just waiting for the almost certain rejection in May and beyond. There are just honestly other places where I am more willing to remain on the WL than this one. Hopefully the rest of you who have heard nothing today will get some good news on Monday🙂.

Waitlisted after what I thought was a great interview. Unfortunately the waitlist, like others have said, doesn't see a lot of movement so I'm just taking it as a rejection. 80k+ a year (tuition + cost of living) is absurd anyway.

Your comment about cost reminded me of a recent interview on NPR. They were talking to a dean at GW, and apparently undergrad tuition is so high there that they literally started a food pantry for students who couldn't afford to eat AND pay tuition. Like...doesn't that indicate that tuition is too high?

Can someone explain their review/hold process? Do you go from review > hold for re-review > review > decision?
