Is it normal for them to schedule your interview somewhere completely different than the selected location?

I selected South Bend and was placed in North West for mine, so I assume so.

I am in the same boat. I think we are in the awkward transition time between their two interview cycles, since they don't interview in December. I am sure we will receive our date in December.
Yeah I've been waiting 4 weeks.

Rejected pre-II yesterday. OOS. Applied 9/8. Good luck to those still in the running.

Sorry to hear that! Keep pushing. When did you interview and what was your LizzyM score?

Just got a II invite, submitted application 9/13. Don't give up hope if you haven't heard anything yet.

II on 11/28. OOS and LizzyM is only 65.2, but I have strong in-state ties (grew up and went to college in Indiana) and have applied before as IS.

How long after receiving the invite did ppl get the confirmation date?

Finally got my interview date via email (it's been about 6 weeks since I got the first II email).

They mentioned that we might have 2 interviewers but I only saw 1 interview time. Does that mean there would be 2 people in the room at the same time interviewing me?

Yes, I had two physicians interview me. It was relaxed though so don't worry.

Hope this hasn't been asked a ton in here, but after you get access to the interview portal or whatever what is there left to do following that? I assume they'll just get my LORs from AMCAS right? And then do I just print out the Dean evaluation and legal disclosure forms and mail them to that address? Or is that something I need to get filled about by the dean on my undergrad campus first? Appreciate the help in advance.

Once you get access to the interview portal, it's all about getting in those documents and waiting for them to assign you a date.
1. Yes, they will receive your letters from AMCAS
2. The dean evaluation needs to be filled out from your undergrad campus; I believe there are 2 forms (1 needs to be filled by the dean, 1 filled by you). After you have everything, you mail it to the address.

Did anyone get conformation emails after they sent their Interview acceptance emails?

Edit: *confirmation (damnit orgo! lol)

Anyone who interviewed 11/16 please reply to this post if you hear back about acceptance/rejection!
Its going to be at least another week. They said the committee meets on the 15th, and then we need to wait for decisions to come in the mail. Probably won't hear until at least the 20th.

Yes I know. Just making a pre-post so I can check at a later time!

Anyone OOS that interviewed on September 14th hear back yet?

Just hang in there! I'm waiting for you to join us!
Thanks man!!! Fingers crossed; I enjoyed the campus feel at Indianapolis also, having come from a large state University =)

Me too! Intereveiwed in October. Interview went very well (in my mind lol) but no word yet since then :/
Yeah my interviewer said that I had done a really good job and said he would represent me well during the committee decision; hopefully he has a lot of weight in the decision making process. Been involved in Anesthesiology for 30 years and a big doc on the campus through Riley Hospital. We will see! I'm super excited though, Indiana is a great school =)

LOL I had the same interviewer as you it seems like!

Anyone else been waiting on an IU interview date for over 5 weeks? Would it be okay to call admissions and ask what's up?

Mine took 6 weeks and so did a few others. You could call but I wouldn't worry about it.

Just confirmed my interview date for 1/11. Anyone else on this thread going to be there?
