Hi all. I am extremely excited to interview but was wondering if I could avoid renting a car during my visit. I'm coming from NYC, so I don't own a car and am close by. Do you think it would be possible to get there by train, bus, etc. and maybe Uber around instead?

Yea njtransit is pretty close to there. Take it from penn station and probably to New Brunswick station and there should be plenty of ubers around

To add to the previous post there's also a Rutgers shuttle from New Brunswick campus to Piscataway campus I think

So question. I got a II yesterday and responded by email which date I wanted to interview (the earliest one available) and I haven't heard any confirmation.... should I call them to make sure they got my interview? I'm kind of freaking out right now that they didn't get it and now I won't be able to interview until February.

What's dates were available to you? I would call by the end of the day today

Jan 13, Jan 27, Feb 6. I'm freaking out a little since I responded to the e mail within 10 minutes of the invitation and I don't want to ruin my chances of getting into the school by interviewing almost a whole month later. 🙁 I'll call them as soon as I can today.

Honestly I wouldn't worry too much because it is non-rolling admissions so don't think it'll matter if you interview a month later. I would just call to confirm because they got back to me relatively quickly. Don't worry! And congrats on the II 🙂

Thanks so much! You're definitely right... just nerve wracking all the same!

II today! Wishing everyone well and good luck today! I'm really thankful as I'm a nontrad graduate student. You guys can do it!

Congrats. Mind sharing stats and whether you're IS or OOS?

Did anyone stay with a student the night before their interview? My interview is coming up in a couple of weeks and was wondering if it was a good idea to stay with a student just to get a feel for what the school is like. However, I do live in driving distance from the school and don't want to take away resources from someone who really needs it. Any advice?

Any OOS applicants hear back yet? Seems like all the IIs have been IS so far, at least in this thread.

Hey, so I haven't heard back from this school yet and have been complete Mid August. Is it okay to send them an update note regarding recent extracurriculars? Any advice about what I could do to keep my application current/active

I was complete late Aug...got my II a couple weeks ago...FYI for those that are still waiting. I did the essays because I missed the CASPER deadline for Aug and waiting til Sept with 4 week grading period was too late for me.

Anyone know when the first acceptances come out? My interview was in early Oct.

any advice on interview prep? Thank you in advance!

Does anyone know how many total acceptances RWJ gives out? It says on MSAR 170 matriculate, and 480 interviews, so I'm assuming the total acceptances must be around 250 or so? Does anyone here know the numbers from last year?

Hey what are your stats/ extracurriculars? Im an in state and havent heard back yet. Im not sure what why they just havent responded yet regarding interview.

The said sometime in December is the first acceptance wave. But I can't remember a specific date or week

Maybe someone else knows?
They said something about the first or second week in December if I remember correctly

I'm in the same boat as y'all. I was completed late Sept because of CASPer scoring. I haven't heard back yet either.

IS
LizzyM 72.5
Completed Sept 30th

FWIW I was complete late September, I'm OOS, and I already had my interview. My LizzyM is upper 60s. It's not rolling admissions so just sit tight! 🙂

did anyone send a thank you email and receive a response? I'm asking because my email bounced a couple of times, so I'm not sure if it went through.

I sent one to Dr. Copeland. That's who they told us to send our thank you e-mail to when I interviewed.
