Probably very good, but you should have applied at the beginning of July. They fill up fast.

For those who have interviewed already, when did your interview day end? I'm trying to book a flight out of New Orleans for 5:50 PM the day of the interview, and with TSA Precheck, as long as I get to the airport by 5 PM I'll be good to go. I just need to know when the actual interview day is over and when we are free to go.

Their email said that activities will end no later than 2:30pm. So my flight is booked for 5pm without TSA Precheck.

Should I let them know that I took casper today? My application still has the red exclamation

Hey everyone! To those of you with II (congrats!), who can see the interview calendar- What days of the week does Tulane conduct interviews?

There are currently interviews scheduled for every weekday except Tuesday.

Anyone know when the first EDP acceptances are typically sent? Oct 1?

+1. Curious about this as well. Is Oct 1st the earliest that they can send out EDP decisions, or just the deadline? It falls on a weekend this year, I wonder if that makes any difference.....

If Oct 1 is the *acceptance* deadline, ostensibly they'd send admission notices before that date. Semantic possibilities and lack of website clarity don't really help in this situation.

No later than October 1st (meaning they can be released before). In practice, it's October 1st

Usually EDP decisions are emailed first thing on the 1st but since that is a Sunday EPD applicants should hear something before October 1.

Thanks for clarifying.

For the "Please list your hobbies and major non-academic interests: (150)" prompt can I use bullet points to list them? Also, I am afraid I don't have 150 hobbies! I have a few hobbies I really enjoy. Is it necessary to fill the entire box with 150 hobbies?

I wouldn't submit here if I were you. Tulane is literally all booked out in terms of interviews. I'd recommend spending that $125 on another school at this point in time.

are there still a ton of us with completion dates of 7/23 (or before) without a decision?

If you look at previous years you may be on an unofficial hold until more interview seats open up (likely in October when the first acceptances go out and people start declining interviews).

Where would you submit instead?

How true is this?

I think they have booked all of their interviews (they are booked through March) but there will start to be openings after October when people start getting acceptances and pulling out

If you are a good fit for the school, apply anyway! People will give up interview spots later in the season. Don't let people on here discourage you!
I might do that. Want to have my app prepared in any case. Do you know if we can put bullet points for the list of hobbies, or do we need to describe them in more depth?

Oh, really? When do they pick their full class? I waited because I took my mcat in July.

I can't find your original post but I remember your stats being like mine. I was verified 6/2 and I was complete 7/10 my interview is 11/9 and I'm pretty sure they are filled until march. So Tulane may be getting close to filled up. Idk when they fill their class tho. They are very expensive it could be that a lot of people turn down their IIs.

Interviews are pretty full, but people will cancel their interviews and reject their invitations, particularly later in the cycle. And there are likely to be a couple more interview days added anyway. Now is not the time to apply if your application is less competitive, but if you think you meet the mission and Tulane sounds like a good place for you, it doesn't hurt to get in the queue.

I don't think it's true. If you are competitive and you are a good fit you will get bumped up the invite list. I have a friend who applied late (within the past 4 weeks) and got an interview in November. Granted, she has a crazy high MCAT (didn't get scores back til july) and I think she actually is a perfect fit, but that's subjective. I don't know your life, anything could happen.

Well I have a 3.7 with 509 MCAT, a pub and worked in two labs. Is that considered competitive?
