Holy smokes, this has to be the most brutal rejection spree I've ever seen. I have no idea how I survived this blood bath but I am very thankful.
I was complete 8/3 and feel like that part in the horror movie when the killer is standing right behind you but you don't wanna look.I never thought I'd see a rejection wave this big and with this many seemingly extremely qualified people...

Or med admissions is getting ridiculous. We are lucky to not be applying 5 yrs from now.Per some of the admissions committee, Pitt already has more applicants than all of last year, and there's still a lot of time to apply. Might explain why they just rejected a ton of people. Think people are figuring what a gem Pitt is.

Same hereI have been complete since 7/6 and still radio silence....at least I survived this bloodbath...
II! Complete early august!
I've seen 46%, which would be super encouraging if true. From reading old threads, it seems like the outright acceptance rate might not be the highest, but that a significant number get pulled off the waitlist -- which I think is pretty common.Any idea what the post II accept rate is? It seems like they interview a ton for 148 spots which is unnerving

If you go strictly based on the US news and world data, they're outright acceptance for all interviewed applicants is right around 42%.Thanks guys, super encouraging!
That's awesome, man. Congrats! I feel similarly - I've gotten minimal love from my in state institutions (Texas resident) - just one other interview. I was ecstatic to get a II from Pitt and even more excited after interview day. It was such a good experience. Hope yours goes well if it hasn't happened alreadyWithout a doubt my top choice, crazy that I considered this a reach school and they invited me before I even heard from my safeties. I heard from one other school so far and it was an II....But the silence from the others is unnerving but it won't matter if Pitt accepts me I am in lol.
Received II yesterday - complete 8/14 - OOS but Pitt is my Alma Mater+1, complete 7/30
