On the course information page (step 9) i have repeated courses on my transcript. How do I know if I selected the right one?

EDIT FOR OTHERS: Click on the printable version, that'll show you the grade for the one you chose so you can make sure you have the right one chosen

Figured I would have gotten the axe by now since they’ve been handing out Rs and IIs... maybe my CASPer score was garbage

It wasn't CASPer; they don't use it for interview invites. I went to an info session with VCU adcoms earlier this year, and they said they're mostly using it this year to see if it correlates with interview performance.

Yeah, I wouldn't I wouldn't worry about it too much. IS applicants get preference early on, so they might still be reviewing your app. Plus, You've already have other IIs to look forward to! Congrats on your success this cycle!
 
Has anyone who interviewed on the 23rd gotten the account update they mentioned? Mine still says "
You have a morning interview scheduled for 8/23/2018.

Your interview is now complete! The Committee will now do a review of your application. Once this review is complete, you will receive a status update regarding your profile."

Even as I am writing this I realize I need to chill 🙁🙁🙁

I bet the status updates won't happen until October 15th when they can release acceptances

I got an II from a CASPer school and I think I was more excited to know that my CASPer wasnt trash compared to actually getting the interview lol. Idk how schools are using CASPer tho so some may be using it as a reference in the future but dont take it into consideration now.

I'm IS, submitted 7/7 and have had this status since ~7/9:
Your M.D. file is now complete. The Sub-Committee will now do a review of your application. Once this review is complete, you will receive a status update regarding your profile.

Then, today, this part was also added:

Please note that your file may be put on hold for the following reasons:
Hold for MCAT: We are assuming you are scheduled to take the test. The Committee wishes to wait to evaluate your file until those scores are available. MCATS taken after September of the year of application will not be considered. If you are not planning to take or retake the MCAT, please notify us immediately.

Hold for Grades: The file review done by the Committee has determined that you are engaged in coursework which may affect their decision about whether to invite you for an interview. It is imperative that you submit grades for current or proposed courses in a timely fashion. Any file on hold for grades that are not submitted by January 31st will automatically be rejected. If you did not take the course indicated on your primary or supplemental application, please notify us immediately.

What could this change mean?? Hopefully that my app is currently being reviewed?

That seems like an automated update. I wouldn't read too much into it

This exact same thing happened to me last week, I'm also IS. I have no idea what it means though!

On my reschedule portal it looks like the soonest interview available is 12/04 and there are 16 or so dates after that stretching back into late February
 
looking at all the in-state prioritization going on, I'm assuming I won't be hearing from this school for a looooong time...
 
I also received an II last night! [IS, re-app complete 7/7, 510 MCAT, 3.49 uGPA, 4.0 gGPA with M.S.] When I accessed my portal around 8p, I was able to snag 11/13 as the earliest date. There remain 17 potential interview dates (of which they may add more), and they will still fill in spots as people reschedule.
 
Primary submitted to school 9/8, secondary received 9/9, LizzyM 66, Wars 71, OOS, I guess this admissions committee works weekends lol

They seem to be working faster this year, because I remember SDNers saying it took a few weeks to get the secondary last time since they screen. Luckily, secondaries are being given out sooner. Are you IS?

I'm out of state, also I herd this school is very specific with who they send secondaries too, is this true?
 
II!!! Today at 6, I almost drove off the road. Second instate II so I am pumped (also my first time posting after lurking for AWHILE). Lizzy M 65.50, Complete August 1st but got my new MCAT score on 8/22, so not sure exactly how they handled my app but for all intents and purposes why don't we say I was complete on 8/22. Also I am instate!

Earliest interview date available is 12/4. There are 17 other available dates with the last one available now being 2/27.

I did not see if my portal changed-- but I received the email that it had. Also, when I looked yesterday the portal had not changed it was the same "Your file is complete you will go in front of a subcommittee" blah blah.

I think that is all the normal info I look for!! Also I am traditional as it gets- First time applying.

How long have you had that? I had that for about a day before I got an II.

When were you complete/ How long did it take to get this status? I feel like they're either super slow this year or they aren't going in order. Still have the sub committee will review status since mid july

If you are IS, this might be an advantage. I am really hoping they do IS review first as I submitted the secondary on the later side due to an MCAT retake.

nope OOS, but last year I got my II in early/mid august and I was only complete a week after I was last year. Maybe they have a new system for sorting apps?
