Wow thank you! I wonder if most schools are open tomorrow morning.FWIW, just emailed them and got the auto-reply:
"Thank you for reaching out to the Office of Admissions at Albany Medical College. Our office is currently closed for the holidays from December 20th at 1pm EST through December 26th at 7:30am EST."
Approximately 40%. I think last year was 800 interviews and 320 acceptances for 140 spots.anyone know the post II acceptance rate here?

This gives me a little hope. i got UC after interviewing.Approximately 40%. I think last year was 800 interviews and 320 acceptances for 140 spots.
There’s actually only ~100 spots. 40 spots are for direct linkages and BS/MD people.Approximately 40%. I think last year was 800 interviews and 320 acceptances for 140 spots.
This is true. Nearby Union/RPI/Siena each have 13 or so spots for their Leadership in Medicine programs every year, although that doesn’t necessarily mean that each school has filled all of them. So each class has “up to 40 reserved seats for LIM students.”There’s actually only ~100 spots. 40 spots are for direct linkages and BS/MD people.

Thank you! There were two groups under the same name.Albany Medical College - Class of 2024
I would still submit my fafsa so that they have it on file. i submitted mine back in october even though im UC.Question - I'm still under consideration here, but I noticed Albany has a FAFSA priority deadline for January 15. For a few reasons, I'm not yet ready to submit my FAFSA application and was wondering if it would be a problem to submit after this January 15 "priority" deadline.
+1. I submitted my FAFSA to every school I interviewed at back in October as well.I would still submit my fafsa so that they have it on file. i submitted mine back in october even though im UC.

even if you don't get in, there's still no harm in doing this beforehand.Question - I'm still under consideration here, but I noticed Albany has a FAFSA priority deadline for January 15. I would fill out parental information, regardless if Albany wants it or not. All of the schools I've interviewed at other than Albany wanted my parental info.Yeah that part makes sense to me. In fact, I was trying to get this done months ago but my main issue is my parents. I’m having a hard time convincing them to supply their information on FAFSA for the schools that are requiring it. Albany doesn’t require it (please someone correct me if I’m wrong, that’s what their financial aid office told me anyway) so I’m a little stuck meeting the Jan 15 deadline at the moment. My question is more so is that Jan 15 a hard set deadline? If I can’t get my FAFSA submitted until the end of the month, for example, am I at a disadvantage?
Yes please let us knowExactly. I’m putting my parental info in regardless. It’s just a matter of getting that information before Jan 15. I’ll ask financial aid tomorrow and report back in case anyone is dealing with the same issue.
Got an II yesterday - I was complete 8/4. Very surprised but there's still hope for those that are still waiting!
Congratulations! When is your interview?
thanks for this! This is our match list from this past year. Only 1-2ish students don't match a year and that is usually after being advised against too few applications/ a specialty out of their step range. Our step scores are the national average. Our dedicated is around 5-6 weeks.
