I'll call them in about 2 weeks and see if they know what interview dates' decisions will be released December 23.

Deferred means that they review you again the next month, I believe...

nope, it means they did not make a decision and won't hear back until they make one. if you remain deferred, you won't hear anything.

It was the day after Thanksgiving, but it WAS my birthday! It was funny because some of the other schools I applied to sent me a happy birthday email. So I thought that was what it was. Ehhhhh no. 🤣
