What’s the difference between deferred list and waitlist ?

Deferred - they haven’t made a decision on you and want to wait until the next admissions meeting to revisit your file once more people have interviewed.

Waitlist - an actual decision...which is waitlist lol.

Deferrered is a lot better than WL!

Should an October Hold be taken as a soft rejection, or do people ever get II’s from holds?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but if I interviewed on 11/5, would it be worth it to send an update now since the next round of acceptances is next week?

Does the pm interview day really last until 4:30pm? Would a 5:15 pm flight be out of the question?

Depends if you're in the AM or PM group. I was in AM group and was out by 2:30. Philly traffic can be crazy tho so even then it'd be cutting it close, I think.

If I already uploaded an update letter and if I want to send in another, how would I do that? On the portal it only allowed me to post one. Should I email the admissions committee with my new update?

While that would be nice, they've released the last two decisions on the exact day listed. Count it as an early Christmas present 🙂

The portal said Nov 25th as the date for last month and the FB post announcing decisions is dated Nov. 22nd 🙁 What a tease 🙁

last year they would do the friday before.

On a separate note, has anyone hear interviewed twice and gotten in the second time? im just curious if people have been successful the second time around.

still a chance for that sweet, sweet R

Where did you get this information??

I couldn't handle the uncertainty of not knowing whether decisions from my mid-November date would be released this round, so I called the admissions office. The person with whom I spoke said I would likely hear over the weekend (!!!), but I wouldn't be surprised if many/most of us don't hear back until at least Monday, as scheduled.
