Whats important to remember is that the fact we received interviews means we *are* good enough. Mercer wouldn't waste its time interviewing anyone that they couldn't potentially see as a student. Additionally, people also get rejected at this stage, but we weren't. If they weren't legitimately keeping us in consideration, then we'd have been rejected. We have no reason not to be hopeful.
If you're currently still in school, use this as motivation to slay this semester and submit a great transcript update.
If you're currently not in school, capitalize on the free time you finally have from academics to volunteer and show how dedicated you are to serving the underserved.
If your MCAT is a little low, you have 3.5 months to prepare for the january test.
If you weren't as knowledgable about primary care as they would have liked to see, use this time to shadow and establish a great relationship with a primary care physician.
The worst thing you could do right now is get discouraged. We got this.
