"By liking this post I, a University of Michigan Medical School applicant for class 2024, do hereby solemnly swear that I shall not post on the University of Michigan school-specific SDN thread between the hours of 11AM and 4PM EST on Mondays between Mid-July and November until after the commencement of #UMichmedMonday. By joining this pact, henceforth I shall be damned by many angry reacts if I disobey."

Addendum number 1 to the pact of never-post: "The time frame is extended to 5PM EST, else though shalt be flayed with Angry reacts."

Like the post. Join the pact.

I noticed you didn't like this post.

You cannot like your own post on SDN. I made the oath. The oath forger may not be an oath breaker. And it is not 4PM EST yet, is it? If not, we must all be flayed with angry reacts. Shall we extend the time to 5PM EST then?
I don't think it's going to stop any of us from refreshing our emails and this freakin forum for the next 7 days tbh

Me watching y'all wait for interviews while my committee letter hasn't even been submitted yet 😢

Do Michigan Mondays include II's for MD/PhD applicants?

Flog the non-believers!!!!

Also, got super excited by an email notification.....Ohio secondary is available if anyone was curious.....That was the most disappointing and simultaneously exciting moment of the cycle thus far.
They haven’t showed me that love yet 😕

I thought Michigan only needed CASPer and not letters to be complete? But what do I know

Hmm...if this is true, that would be amazing...once my CASPer scores get transmitted of course :rage:

EDIT: I spoke too soon, apparently my results have been delivered so I may be in the same anxiety boat as everyone else

EDIT again: I think Michigan actually requires letters for MSTP applicants to be complete 😢

I think that it is highly unlikely they come out today at this point, but there is a chance for what it is worth

It looks like it was always on the third Monday of July for the past few years. I'm not sure what caused the change this year. However, I have seen them make II tweets at like 6 p.m. EDT, so it's still possible we'll hear back later today.

Adding to this, didn’t the cycle start earlier this year?

UMich may not love me, but I just had a random female student that doesn’t speak much English walk up to me at the library and handed me 2 bottles of nail polish that were sealed shut and gestured me to open them. So that’s a confidence boost I guess....

OMG, has anyone else STILL not gotten their secondary from here?? Should I call em?

Dammit, go away New York College of Podiatric medicine!!

See what you are doing to me? Y'all made me anxious...
Glad I wasn't the only one to think that!! Got the same email.....

Not that Podiatry doesn't have its place, because it is def a viable pathway to medicine for those who pursue it....I just don't care and want the clutter to go away.

At the rate other people are getting II and I'm just sitting here hitting F5, I should probably consider podiatry.
Lol There really aren't that many people I have encountered on here that have more than one II thus far....

Disclaimer: I am one of those people with more than one.
