I read on the accepted student tab that they don’t charge you until some time in the spring (around March). Until then, you just have to click that you plan to enroll there for AMCAS.

I considered a Lyft, but it would have been about $100 each way, so I rented a car.

About $60 each way. Cheaper than renting a car for 3 days since I arrived the day before the interview and couldn't leave until the day after.

I rented a car! Be careful when you pick it up because I was late returning my 24-hour rental (there was a MAJOR traffic jam on the way back from Beaumont). I'm also under 25, so I had to pay for the fee.

I did both ways with Uber and did not have to worry much. Both ways cost me $130. I think it depends on what time you are planning on getting there and what day/time you are leave after the interview.
