Do you guys think they’ll call everyone today or has it ever been spaced out in the past? I haven’t heard anything and no one else has posted about phone calls...
 
They have been spaced out before. I also think someone has gotten a call at 5:30 before if I remember right.
 
Dang, it’s 5:00 now. I’m scared to assume since others have been called this is a WL or an R for us who haven’t heard.
 
Has anyone else from the 6th or the 12th interview date still not gotten anything yet? I haven’t even gotten a rejection email. At this point I just want to hear anything at all.
 
I saw someone earlier who didn’t get the call on the Thursday and assumed he was waitlisted and ended up getting the call the next day. So there’s still a chance. It looks like this waitlist is a little different from the other ones I’m on and they’ll keep us under consideration. Does anyone know if they’re open to letters of intent?

Thanks for giving me a little hope. I think it’s safe to say I’ll have to wait till tomorrow for an answer at this point.
 
Also interviewed 12/12 and did not hear anything yesterday. I called to get any info, admissions team is out for the day so we likely won't hear anything until Monday.

Seeing as how nobody has reported rejection e-mails, only A and WL, I don't have super high hopes. But, I suppose it isn't over yet.

Also, that’s super cold to prolong the rejection four days longer than acceptances and WL.
 
Does any current OUWB student have any info on the recent ophtho match for this school? I remember last year they had a high number of ophtho applicants and 100% match.
 
Just spoke with admissions team, they have not finished processing 12/12 interview group. Some apps have not gone to the board yet.

We are still in this!

Did they say when we would likely be reviewed? And thank you so much for calling and posting that. It’s been driving me nuts all weekend.

I have the same case. I submitted my application on 8/27/19 but my last RL was submitted on 11/20/19 and the whole things changed to 11/20/19. Now it looks like I submited my application on 11/20/19. It is a little confusing.
 
So for those of us that were wait listed, it looks like at every adcom meeting they'll look at our file again and reconsider us according to an email I got back from the admissions office. Does anyone know how receptive OUWB is to update letters or letters of intent?

So a few current students I’ve talked to said they were initially on the WL but then sent LOI and received offers. They recommended waiting until after interviews are done to send it (in March), but I don’t know how plausible that is. I was thinking about sending it next month since I interviewed in November and want to show my continued interest. I actually have no idea what to do, if anyone has any advice or insight please help!!

Yup, that's correct! 8/8 matched last year. Here's the match data.

I'm a current student and this could just be hearsay, but I've heard that in OUWB history, of all our students that have entered the match, 70/71 have matched into ophtho.

I do not. They typically will post their match list in March, but if I find out sooner then I'll make sure to comment here! 🙂

For those who received IIs what were your stats if you don’t mind sharing? Applied in mid September, still waiting
 
I've applied to OUWB in July and haven't heard anything from them. I have a friend that applied around the same time and got an R but I haven't received anything. Is OUWB still reviewing applications to call for an interview? I just don't know what to make sense of my situation since it's almost February. Also, I am OOS btw.

No news = R/ Forgotten/not impressed by my application portfolio lol. I am confused!!!
