I believe they give out secondaries until January. Last year I got one in early December. But this year I received a secondary 3 weeks after being verified. Have no idea how they screen things but I do have a stronger MCAT and a more cohesive application this year. So you still can receive a secondary.

This was my experience in 2016 as well. The status changed before I received an e-mail.

I believe they meant that if you were waitlisted, they might not make a final decision on your application (i.e., accepted or rejected) until March. Not total silence.

Can medical schools see where you have been accepted or rejected before they make their decision?

I know that after schools accept you they can see the "multiple acceptances" report in February, but before they make a decision on you, can they see how many schools you have been accepted to and have that influence their decision? Thanks!

I think they said about a month to a month and a half, but if we don’t hear back we might be on some kind of internal hold
