Does anyone know, if I've already done a Certiphi Background Check for another school, do I have to initiate another report or add UW on anywhere (if so how?), or will they automatically get a copy of the background check?

@Dr. Let 'er Buck @Run Long And Perspire I am very unfamiliar with U-WY campus and the email is less than helpful for the parking situation. Where is the best place to park? Should I use the Campus Commuter shuttle? I just don't really know...

Parking on campus is agonizingly bad.

Probably your best bet would be to park in the east or south shuttle lot, then ride the bus to campus. It will drop you off at the union and you can walk <7minutes to the health building.

If you decide to tempt fate and street park..be advised that much of it is restricted to residential permits only.

There’s a secret sweet spot. On 6th street off of Clark st, there is usually space to park and it isn’t permit. Two blocks to the HS building! Best of luck!

OOR tuition waiver received (get in-state tuition all 4 years) <3 This school is becoming increasingly appealing. Also, mark your calendars Seattle peeps because we're getting news about second look soon, which will be officially on April 4th!! So excited 🙂

Congrats!!! That’s amazing. Did you submit FAFSA already?

I thought you had to have submitted the FAFSA by January 15th to be considered for financial aid for the 2020-21 school year. But I'm guessing the OOR tuition waiver is a separate decision from that.

Yeah, not sure about the OOR waiver. They said on my interview day that it’s not a strict deadline, just makes your funding a priority if you submit by 1/15

I submitted my FAFSA wayy back in September/October I think? But yeah the OOR tuition waiver is separate. I think it'll be awhile till we get fin aid packages though. Heard from my friend here that 15k is max for need-based aid per year

Congrats!! Financial aid starts rolling through early March for those who submitted before priority deadline.

I met with financial aid office recently, feel free to PM if ya want more details on aid.

Each state seems to do it a little differently. We interviewed Mon-Thurs and I got a call on Friday. The official notification of acceptance was emailed to me on Monday. It’s so fast, but still feels like forever. Best of luck to all of the AK applicants!!

Really? I heard Friday

Sent from my SM-N960U using SDN mobile

It has been Friday traditionally, but normally interviews were completed by Thursday. Interviews extended through Friday this time around so they are likely taking the weekend off and will make decisions Monday.

Spokane interviewee here--ACCEPTED YESTERDAY!! top choice, so happy and excited 🙂
Spokane interviewee here, accepted yesterday as well! The people I met on interview day were all wonderful and I hope that if you are still waiting that you hear back soon!

CONGRATS! What week did you interview? I interviewed this last week (week of Feb 2nd) and am anxiously awaiting that call.

Happy to say I just got admitted as a WA TRUST student this is a real top choice for me, so I am so happy and excited.
Accepted to TRUST as well! Do you know when they will be sending an email with more information? I think the committee member mentioned a few days? Wondering if you or anyone has more specific information!
