my friend who interviewed earlier than me doesn't have it on their pre-match page, so i think it's a good sign that not everyone has it

+1, I asked a friend and his only shows his prematch withdrawal from another school, not utmb.

I just called and received the same information. I asked her if this was just a glitch in the TMDSAS portal, or a glitch in their system, and the woman I spoke to said she was uncertain but that they were updating their system and that it could be either possibility. She also told me that a prematch offer email will come from Theresa Silva if there is a prematch, and that we would receive the offer through mail as well. And to call next week to check

I didn’t get one, but I was really hoping that I would. I felt REALLY good about my interviews and UTMB is my top school, but I guess I was just overly optimistic or will get one when they actually go out. I hope y’all get your prematches here tho, I’m honestly so happy for y’all!!!

In the past UTMB has mailed you a letter and you will fill out paper forms and return them. You can send an email saying you want to accept, in the meantime, if you wish to.

It did say in my email that we would be receiving a confirmation of the offer in the mail. I didn't know that it would have forms for us to fill out though!

Yes. They send you quite a bit of information about the school as well as some things to fill out.

congrats on your prematch!! we could be classmates! when i pre-matched they sent like three emails from their MySTAR portal that had a password/username that will allow you to confirm your place in the class. this came later in the day so im guessing you'll be getting it soon!

The emails from enrollment services make it sound like if you accept you are essentially matriculating to the school. Ik that TMDSAS says that we can accept as many pre-match offers as we want but I just wanna make sure

You should accept all admissions you receive in Texas. In January, you need to choose 1 that you want to keep and they release the rest of your admissions so other students can get them.

In January you choose one as in you rank your choices on tmdsas match correct ? Or do you have to withdraw all but one prematch offers in January?

That’s kind of how it works, y’all, since you end up matched to 1 school only, by the match system.
But just to be clear, you rank all schools where you have interviewed in order of your preference.
The system will drop you from all schools you ranked lower than your matched school.
I will make a post in a while on the Cowboy Code thread explaining all the rules and all the possibilities. I don’t want to derail this thread too much.
