Is UC here same as getting put on a WL ?

UC is sort of Pre-waitlist. People will get pulled off the UC list. They make the official waitlist somewhere late in the cycle.

SAME. Idk if you had this problem, but under my unsubsidized loans it says I'm "over the limit" but I'm certain for med school that amount applies to us (it says so in the AMC financial aid guide). Hopefully you didn't run into this issue too but I'm gonna give their financial aid dept a call this week.

I am in the same situation. I went on the FAFSA aid website, and the maximum about for graduate student is $20,500. Time for negotiation.

"[students] are eligible for $42,722 Unsubsidized Loan as a MD first year student for 2021-2022.

Albany Medical College does not require students to provide parental information as they are considered independent.
Most of our students coming to AMC with an expected family contribution of zero. Unfortunately, our institutional scholarship
resources are extremely limited and the majority of scholarships that are awarded at AMC are provided to third and fourth year medical students"

Considering many of us are on the UC list still I’d say no.

You can get A/UC/R, the waitlist is made when the class is full. A lot of accepted students were initially UC, but based on prior cycles I wouldn’t say “most” people on UC get accepted, but a fair amount do

I think they will be sent at the end of the cycle. I didn't receive one until March 20th last year.

I see an ii that came on 18th in my spam folder - and it gives only 3 days to schedule ... past due now- any advice or any similar experience from anyone please... just emailed back - hope I hear back with another link to schedule the ii..... I do not have any MD A yet - would love to go to Albany...

Aw im so sorry for this... mine II also came into my junk folder and i finally saw it on the last day it was due. I really hope they are understanding it really sucks 🙁

I would try emailing and/or calling the school. That really sucks 🙁

Edit: Same thing happened to me. Missed the deadline to schedule interview. Hope it goes to one of you guys instead! 🙂 Spam folder woes...
