Did everyone else’s waitlist email say this: “Your application demonstrated great potential and you are a part of a select group that will be reevaluated by the Admissions Committee if space becomes available in the class.” ?

Tying to figure out if it’s meaningful or a generic thing they put in all the emails.

i got WL few months ago and had that. its just a generic part of their WL email
 
Interviewed here Saturday! Can anybody share information about the Q&A session? It's on Friday but I haven't received any information on it via email just yet. Is video required to be on? Dress code? Much appreciated and good luck to all!

Super chill. There aren't really an requirements, a few people had their camera's off in mine, but it's nice to see who potentially your future classmates may be. As for the dress code, there isn't really one, just look presentable. The session is relaxed and meant for you to ask questions, it won't affect your standing with the school unless your wildly out of pocket lol

Mines was super chill, they just asked general questions about my application mostly. I looked over my the interview feedback page for buffalo here and found that super helpful. It was really low stress!
 
Hi all, I received an II for the MD-PhD yesterday (2/4). Does anyone have any insight into the interview process? The link I was given to register lists 5 interviews over the course of a week. Are these full days or is it just the 35min interview sessions?

Would a current student be willing to share their experience or their classmates experiences being waitlisted? When does there seem to be the most waitlist movement, were letters of intent successful, when did the class seem to get finalized etc. Your feedback is much appreciated.

The waitlist movement for my year started around December and slowly continued until May and it got a lot bigger at that point. Most of the class was finalized by June with a couple extra people Ik said they got in late June as well. Unsure on letters of intent.
 
Has anyone who has their interview timeslots between 2/18 and 2/24 received their times yet? I know they said today would be the latest we would receive them, but just trying to gauge.

I haven't either. Last email came at 5pm so there's still time
 
When did people get info about student panel? I interviewed last week and haven't gotten any info about that yet 🙂
 
Does anyone know if Buffalo is True P/F and whether or not they have internal rankings? I know they participate in AOA, which factors in some sort of ranking, but are there explicit rankings that will be put on residency letters and such?

They have internal quartile rankings. I recall a girl in the student session talking about them.
