From the First Friday Event, the admission said they would take sub 500 but you would need a high GPA to offset the low mcat. In my case, I have a 501 mcat and trash gpa soooo I'm out of luck since I'm low on both end lol.

I guess you could also make the argument that if they've reviewed you, and you haven't heard anything, then they just don't want to bother with you (ex. myself). It's hard to tell. We just know they interview until April.

I understand completely. I was just advising you to be in the 500's. It will open a lot of doors for you.

I haven’t yet and I interviewed on Feb 10. I emailed them because I was suppose to hear back by March 5th. They said that they’ve gotten a little behind but will hopefully notify soon.

I don’t know if this affecting any communication but when I emailed earlier this week I was informed that they are on “spring break” until the March 15th. I don’t know if this is affecting admissions and how often they meet during this time.

This is a HBCU so if he/she doesn't meet their mission then it's no surprise they get the silent treatment even with good stats.

Not necessarily I have things that meet their mission 3.5 gpa 513 MCAT and I also have heard nothing. It just happens. We have no idea why adcom does what they do

Man, I volunteer and work in underserved communities. Still nothing. You can meet their mission statement, have the stats, and whatever else. There is obviously a matter of other factors as well. And apparently, I don’t meet them
