Does anyone know how long/what time of day they usually are? I have class so I need to plan ahead if I need to skip.
 
How long did it take for the Casper Exam score to reach Mercer? Thanks!

To get a secondary from Mercer, they take your overall MCAT percentile and multiply it by your BCPM GPA, and if that number is greater than 93 they send you a secondary. However, with Covid19 affecting MCAT score release dates, I’m not exactly sure what their process is for this year.
 
Can anyone that has already interviewed let me know how soon before their interview they received the details and format information for their interview? My interview is next week and I haven't been sent any specific details yet.

Huh my interview is next week too, but they sent stuff out to us on Tuesday. My interview is next Tuesday, so probably the week before

How long is the interview? And between what hours?

Last year we heard back on the 27th (Frida), so technically they could meet and tell us tomorrow.

I follow a GroupMe ^^ and everyone said the notifications came out today. For ED there is only one wave of acceptance/waitlist/rejection. They viewed all the applicants in the ED pool this past Wednesday.
 
Yes, the lunch with the ambassadors is a part of the evaluation!
 
Just got confirmed to the new Columbus Campus. If anyone is assigned or wants more info about Columbus let me know. What I know about the campus itself is that is is right by the river in downtown Columbus (I actually go by the building often when playing Pokemon Go). For the first year, while the rest of the buildings are getting ready, we will used some of Columbus State Universities buildings and some clinical buildings in town (I heard we will used the Houston Clinic for anatomy). I'll try and see what more info I can get from my pre-med advisor at CSU as she will be a student liaison.

If anyone wants more info about the town itself, send a DM.

Edit: Forgot to mention I've lived here for 2.5 yrs and my family has been here for 40.
 
Does anyone know if there is a RD groupme? I am anxiously awaiting and hoping to hear back this month! I interviewed recently!

As far as I know there's only the ED/RD groupme ^^ I'm in the same boat as you! Interviewed 9/29. My guess is that we'll hear back next Wed (10/21) as adcom tends to meet every 3rd Wed (found this out through a lot of research). Good luck!!

For your RD interviews, what was the duration and the time for it? Did you finish at 1 like the ED interviewees did?
Just found out my prof set our final exam date for the same day I set my interview already, but it's in the late afternoon, so I was just trying to figure out if there was cause for mild panic rn.

Yeah, the interviews end at 1 pm. Same as ED 10-1 pm

We shouldn’t hear anything until next Wed as adcom meets every 3rd Wed (the tradition for the past 5 yrs) sometimes for the first round of RD interviews, they don’t meet until the 4th Wed. But just like ED, we should get a call Wed night if not an email on Thursday morning with an acceptance or other. Lol I’ve done too much research into this..

Hi! I have a quick question. Since interviews are virtual this year, how exactly does the format of the interview process work, specifically the lunch part with the ambassadors ? I've seen that interviews are from 10-1pm. Does this mean you'll have interviews going from like 10-12 and than lunch through zoom from 12-1?
 
Applying RD! Complete 10/12. Does anyone know when RD applicants typically here back about interview dates?

Yes, essentially. It's mainly just a panel with Student Ambassadors (SA). You're free to eat your lunch during this session, but honestly, no one does.. lol, not even the SAs. When I interviewed, they were going to divide us amongst 4 SAs, but the break out rooms didn't work, so we were all in one main room with the 4 SAs. It made asking questions a little more difficult, given such a big group, but it worked! I'm sure they probably have this fixed by now though.
 
Good luck to everyone today!!! Hopefully, we will hear this evening!! According to past threads, the committee typically finishes reviews around 5 pm and most people receive calls from 6 pm - 9 pm!! if not, everyone should get an e-mail tomorrow morning :nailbiting: :depressed::dead:
 
Good luck to all!! I have a question. What happens if you are rolled into next month's committee meeting? Will they tell you that or is that just something you assume if you do not receive any sort of email/ phone call?

I’m not sure how it’ll work with RD applicants, but I know all the ED applicants who were told they were moved to the continuing consideration (CC) pool were notified Thursday morning. Maybe tomorrow (if they meet today) everyone will be notified of acceptance, CC, or rejected? If anything, everyone accepted will definitely get an email on Thursday morning.

Has anybody gotten a call? I'm starting to get nervous that the committee didn't meet today. 🙁
 
I got a call yesterday saying that I was accepted but I have not received my official email yet...
