Anyone know if they screen before sending a secondary? According to last year's thread, there was a somewhat heavy screen?
 
My app was verified on the 17th of July and I still haven't received a secondary. Do I assume I have been screened out? OOS but went to school in Philly. LM 70.
 
anyone receive a secondary recently? or II? I was only verified on 8/7 but just wondering what order they're reviewing in. also never got an "acknowledgement of primary" email. IS and I feel I fit what they would want in a holistic screen. thinking of email once I hit 3 weeks...
 
Does anyone know if there is a way to submit a supplementary document or application update? Per the email after I completed their secondary, "we cannot accept application materials, transcripts, or letters of recommendation outside of the AMCAS system. Our system is not able to upload supplementary files to your portfolio." I was published recently and wanted to send them this information. Any suggestions?

Sounds like they want to evaluate you based on your AMCAS and secondary. At an interview you can share your updates

Cant schedule it either and I think the portal says they are virtual. The email text was prob a hold over from last year!

edit: that was genuinely such a kind email tho I love it lol

Are you saying the II email was a mistake? 🙁

I got an interview as well but can't schedule anything in the portal. Gonna wait it out and see if it updates.

I hope not hahah I meant the text about visiting campus was just from previous years and they didn't edit it
 
So I'm SURE I'm being too anxious, but what are my chances of getting an II since being completed 7/22? How far into the year do they keep sending IIs?

It is a long road so buckle up, strap that EZ pass to the windshield, make sure your buddy doesn't eat all the snacks, and try to enjoy the the journey. It's more productive to try to stay happy and healthy rather than stressing about it the double the typo that might haven been in your secondaries. Whether we interview now or in spring 2021, none of us will start at Cooper until next summer anyway.

Also, know that you generally get what you get here. There's not a whole bunch of fluffing, etc. Especially from me and students.

We want you to go where you'll be happiest, and that doesn't happen if we lie or fudge things for you. If we ever talk/ed/etc, you'd know I'd rather you go anywhere else than to stay here and be miserable. B/c that makes unhappy peers, burnt out, etc. No good.
 
Hey guys, M4 here. About to be done at the end of April. I currently live at Cooper Village and have been the only person who has ever lived in my apartment as the building was brand new when I moved into and I’ve been the only resident in my apartment. It’s a one bedroom apartment and in great condition as I have been here for five years (took one year off of research) and I really appreciated the convenience of living so close to the hospital and school. Living across the street from the school and from the hospital has its perks when waking up late! Additionally, I go home on the weekends and therefore have lived here four and a half days a week. The apartment is a clean, non- smoker, non pet environment. You can PM me for pictures if needed.

I’m moving out at the end of April and am trying to get out of my lease. I need someone to take on my lease since my lease currently finishes at the end of May. You would have to move in on May 1st.

If anyone is interested once they are accepted feel free to PM me. Also feel free to PM me about Cooper in general.

Has anyone gotten an "Acknowledgment of Primary Application" email after getting verified by AMCAS? I was verified early August and still haven't received anything from CMSRU. I'm a reapplicant and last year I got a confirmation email the day after submitting my primary. It took about two months after that to receive a secondary last year, so I'm not that worried that I haven't received a secondary yet, but I'm concerned they haven't received my app at all.

I did not get this but went directly to a secondary
 
They're still really early in the cycle correct? hoping...
 
I'm not sure, but yeah I really love this school! my family is only 8 miles away, id be livin fo freeeeee
 
Hey all, my amcas was verified a week ago and I've received secondaries from most of my schools but haven't heard anything CMSRU. How long should I wait before emailing about getting a secondary application. I'm in state and align with their mission

A week isn't too long ago. They screen so give it some time!
