I got my email about doing the background check a little after sending in my technical and admissions response form.

If this is the first school that you’ve been accepted at, then yeah! However, if you’ve been accepted to other schools that do background checks, you may have received that email earlier. After completion of the check and making it available to AAMC, it gets sent automatically to any subsequent school that you end up being accepted or waitlisted at so you won’t get an email from those schools.
 
Did you guys get the background check emails and other acceptance emails RIGHT after getting the acceptance call or did it take some days for you guys to get the emails after the call?

Took multiple days for me. May have even been around 2 weeks but I can't remember.

I am in the same boat. I have been in preliminary review for like 5 months. Last year they put me on hold after being on preliminary review for 2 months. so weird.

I interviewed with this school back in late October, and heard nothing at all since. Any hopes?

I think it's likely that they finished accepting students from October interview dates, but I thought the same about November until user above proved me otherwise. There's definitely still a chance at WL if anything and a good amount of WL movement is expected this year.

Have any accepted students received information on where to send our final transcripts, vaccine information, or financial aid information?

So are they still sending out interviews? I've heard absolutely nothing from this school since my secondary was complete...

There are a few people that pulled it off and it is definitely possible considering things are mostly remote right now, but tbh I would strongly discourage it. You will have to do to the hospital/see HD families often in middle of the day and logistically I couldn't imagine not having a car the first year. Financial Aid office is super helpful in sorting out loans if you do need to buy a one.
 
Should we make an accepted student FB page ourselves? Or am I way too early & should wait for the admissions office to do so?
 
I submitted my background check but I haven’t received anything else... has anyone gotten any further instructions?

I still haven't gotten anything after the background check either.
