Is it possible the tracker increases because they know they are sending x many more As but before they have decided who?

omg that's such a great point! But wouldn't they decide the people at their committee meetings because otherwise, they'd have to do more meetings. but who really knows at this point

Just got off the waitlist tonight at 7:56! Interviewed near the end of October, waitlisted in the middle of November. I'm an IS non-trad reapp with a pretty high MCAT and average GPA. So excited to join all of you fine people at Wayne State! For those who have been accepted, what should I be doing in terms of financial aid? How is everyone figuring out living arrangements?

Congrats on the A! Check the FB group for living arrangements, there's an excel sheet there you can put info and connect with others. There should be a class GroupMe coming soon so make sure you have the app downloaded.

For financial aid, I know they have us meeting with advisors one-on-one prior to matriculation so you should get an email about that along with any potential scholarships soon.

they said 4-6 weeks. for several people on this thread, it took them months to hear back. so I would wait another week and then contact but it's up to u

Oh ok.. at the closing session they said 3-4 weeks so I thought I would get it faster. And it seems that everyone interviewed around about same time got their decisions out.. I think I just will wait and see. Thanks for replying back

yeah my decision took about a month as well, with some people who interviewed after me getting decisions before. it's pretty randomized

Anyone see the Choose Your Medical School tool for Wayne? Not sure if they haven't put in recent acceptances yet.

I was accepted on 2/10 and I see Wayne on my CYMS tool. Make sure you confirm your acceptance on Wayne's portal if you haven't done so!

Is there a specific spot with stats in terms of how many EDP applicants there were/ how many of them got an interview? Or was 40 just based off the admissions tracker on their website?

Wayne state has an admissions tracker that they use throughout the cycle. At the time, only EDP IIs were sent out and was 40 at the time.

guysss, I heard that Wayne tends to fill their class by feb (accept ~350 people) then wait til late march/april for the waitlist to move 🥲 idk how true this is but assuming this may be the trend, we probably shouldnt worry everyday now haha

They may be behind since a lot of schools are, but last year Wayne stopped updating their tracker after feb (~350 acceptances), and I heard they stayed silent til late march. But yea, Wayne is super random so they may do things differently this year
