I wish they gave out more post II Rs so that we’d feel a little bit better about being WL

I really don’t understand anything about Wayne’s process, but I assume they look at stats? Truly, if they pulled from a hat, I wouldn’t even feign surprise at this point.

also confused on how their candidate deliberations go if they already know they arent accepting anyone and everyone just gets thrown on the waitlist regardless. and its not ranked .... 😵

If the admissions tracker is accurate, then probably not because the number increase was so small

Yeahhh that’s what I was initially thinking, but I don’t think they increased the tracker after that Thursday meeting yet? The tracker was updated like around 2ish weeks ago

On interview day, they said they will make decisions in 4-6 weeks, but some of us heard back within a week or two. It doesnt make sense for them to waitlist everyone without reviewing files caz they could have taken more time to make some of these decisions.

Hey! Sorry for the late reply lol. No, I got the email at about 3 PM EST.

Yeah I think what they do is they spread out the WL decisions and then as they review those apps u either get the A or stay on the WL (possible rejection towards the end of the cycle)

Y'all need to remember that this SDN thread is not representative of all applicants. If there are only 4 acceptances given out on a day, the odds are that those 4 people might not be SDN users which is why this thread thinks the tracker is delayed
