I’m trying to pick an interview date but no dates are showing up. Anyone else having this problem?

You're asking this on a lot of threads man, if you've submitted a secondary then you've definitely been in their portal. Go to the document upload section there for whatever school, that's where you submit an update. If you don't see that, google "X University medical school application update" and see if you need to upload via email or another method. Don't be lazy, it's not rocket science.

But to answer your question, yes you can. Go to the Temple University portal, scroll down to the bottom and click on "4. submit supplemental items" and you have the option to upload a few update files or whatever.

I actually have looked at most schools portals or searched it! I am only posting for the ones that I can’t find info for. Sorry for the inconvenience but I thought this was what SDN was for :/

If it says "Upload Additional Documents" or "Document Upload" it's fair game
 
Hey, so for the passport size photo we have to upload after scheduling an interview, does it have to be a professional passport photo with a white background and correct lighting? Would making it be the right size with a more decent background work? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

It's going to be used for your ID and stuff so most of my friends IDs have either an obnoxious red background or, a white background. I had a friend that knew how to use photoshop and just made my background white somehow...seemingly pretty easy? But if its already mostly a neutral one color you should be fine

Does anyone have advice on how to prepare for LKSOM's interview? What are some practice questions or mock interview resources I can utilize?
 
For those who have interviewed for the Philly campus in the last 2 weeks, have you heard any more specific information on when the release will occur in November? Thanks!
 
Can anyone recommend a one-time mock interview resource online? Every company I find has packages for more than one.

Would recommend your university's pre-health department as usually they can offer a one-off mock interview for free or offer you free resources. Other than that I would ask a family member, friend, or coworker to do a mock interview with you and critique you
 
I just realized I didnt receive a "complete" email from Temple. I submitted in early august and the secondary link doesn't have a "status" or "communication page". Is this normal?

I noticed the same thing and emailed admissions, they responded a few days later saying I was complete and under review
 
is Temple done sending interview invites? I submitted in July and am truly nervous seeing people who applied in August and September already getting acceptances/interviews

Their website states that they have interviews all the way until March. I don’t have any physical evidence of how many II’s are left but my best guess is that there are more II’s to be sent out!

For those that interviewed within the past 2 weeks, did adcom mention a specific date or range of dates for their first batch of decisions? early, mid, late November?

They mentioned that it should be around or before thanksgiving. But a part of me worries if my early November interview is going to be reviewed in time for that release date.
 
Can anyone comment how the interview is for this school? Is it laid back? How is the writing activity?

The interview was laid back, in my opinion, and the writing activity reminded me of Casper/secondary writing!

What is North Philadelphia like? I noticed we have an interview with a North Philadelphia representative.

The area has more people with low socioeconomic status and certain areas like places in the Kensington neighborhood are concentrated areas of visible drug use and poverty. I think the community interview is meant to help find students that can get along with people in the surrounding communities and help work towards more community outreach.
 
We have a writing assignment, which I assume we will submit online. What is the policy behind adapting previous secondary questions/answers from other schools for this writing assignment, assuming the question is similar?

I'm guessing as long as the words are our own, it doesn't matter when we wrote them. I just don't want to be called out for self-plagiarism or something like that if they see something fishy like words being copy and pasted into the essay box.
