Hey guys! I'm interviewing here next week and am a little nervous (especially for that community interview). Any tips or advice? Also was the interview stressful or more laid back?

Personally felt it was very relaxed and they genuinely wanted to get to know you. I felt a strong sense of importance in community and service, so would consider that as you enter the interview. Just have a great conversation! PM me if you have any other qs I can answer

How long does it typically take for Temple to respond post-II? Interviewed 12/14 and no updates from them yet

If I remember correctly, they said next batch of decisions would be end of January. I interviewed early December.

Hi everyone, does anyone know when they send out the email with the zoom link for interviews? I am interviewing tomorrow and still have not received it.

Does anyone else's portal say their admissions decision is ready when they log in, but the link redirects to the PDF of the writing assignment from interview day?

Negative

You are misunderstanding.

There is Plan to Enroll (PTE), which does not involve a commitment, and Commit to Enroll (CTE), which does. You cannot do anything until the tool becomes active in your AMCAS portal on 2/19 (2/22 this cycle, since 2/19 falls on a Saturday and 2/21 is Presidents' Day), at which time you can select PTE, which is not a final selection, and, again, does not involve a commitment. You can change that as often as you like until you make a CTE selection, which IS final once made.

The ability to select CTE goes live on 4/30 (5/2 this cycle, since 4/30 also falls on a Saturday). It does involve a commitment, and requires you to withdraw from all other WLs. Temple does not require you to make this selection on 4/30 (or 5/2). Its deadline is 7/1.
Oh this was great! Because I was confused lol. Do you (or anyone else) happen to know the general timeframe for financial aid packages to come out? I really can’t determine where I may like to go without knowing how I’ll pay 😭

Sorry, no. This greatly varies by school.

A few let you know at the time of acceptance. Most don't, but let you know before you have to reduce to one A on 4/30.

As @gonnif is fond of frequently reminding us, there is no obligation to even let us know by that date, and some don't. In that case, though, it would be very rare for whatever schools you are still considering to not work with you on deadlines to make sure you have the information you need before being forced to make a decision.

At this point in the cycle, all you can really do is drive yourself crazy running through all the possibilities in your head, OR try to relax until you get the information, which typically comes in the March-April time frame.

Hi everyone - not sure if there are any current St. Luke’s students in here but wanted to give it a shot. I was accepted back in November/Decemberish and am hoping to tour the St Luke’s campus before making a decision on what school I attend. I have contacted admissions plenty of times but to no avail, and they have cited students not being on campus so no tours can be given. Does anyone know if an informal tour would be allowed, and who to contact if so? Would love to just see some of the facilities and have a look around Bethlehem.

yes, go to their portal and click on the hyperlink in step 4 and you can upload PDFs
Where do you see "Step 4" ? I don't see that on my portal... Is that the same as uploading an update as a pdf under "Supplemental Items & Documents" ?

Hi, could someone who interviewed with St. Luke's campus please describe the interview day & their overall experience? What should I expect? What type of writing assignment do we have?
I know that I have 2 interviews with doctors from St. Luke's (primary faculty interview and additional interview). Isn't there also supposed to be a community interview or is that on a different day? Thanks so much!

Did anyone receive the interview links for tomorrow's interview date?

I've written a bit about my St. Luke's experience in the thread! Don't worry about the writing assignment; you'll be able to answer it. I'm pretty sure the community interview IS the interview with the St. Luke's physician. The faculty member is usually a dean or something and then you have the community one

Ok that makes sense. Yes, I just found your post. Thanks and congrats on your A!

Just noticed that I don’t have an email saying my app is complete. I paid the fee and my signature is on my application on my application on the portal. Anyone else not get a complete email?

You're good. I don't think anybody got a complete email. I didn't and still got an II here so I'd say you're fine lol
