I got the A last night, its my first one !! saw it this morning. got waitlisted 12/14.

WOO Congrats doc!! I can imagine how amazing that would feel!

Hope there's more movement for waitlisters soon. Got waitlisted on Nov 8th so god knows the wait has been draining 😢

OOS/ URM/ 50X MCAT / 3.68 undergrad GPA and currently in grad school.

For those of you who interviewed, when did the zoom links for the individual interviews appear before the interview day? I'm logging into the applicant portal but don't see them. Thanks!

I got an email with the main zoom link with a time to login the night before my interview.

They will give a brief introduction before you start and tell you how to navigate interview day (it’s a lot of clicking!)

How are they already accepting so many more people than they have in their class, surely ~150 haven't already declined their acceptances. Or are they just not going to utilize the waitlist as much this year?

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised considering how easy it is to have a lot of interviews this cycle with zoom. A lot of people probably started hearing back from their top choices these past two months, and started declining their the other schools not in their top 5

I don't know. At the interview we were told that it would take 4-6 weeks to hear anything and if you heard sooner then it was most likely a rejection. Honestly thought it was a rejection when I saw it in my inbox.

FWIW This is how my scholarship was offered through another school, and someone who is now a third year at Wayne said they were offered one without an app too. They seem to just offer it to some people. (Not speaking for myself with this particular school, I’m just waitlisted.)

Don’t be alarmed if you don’t get a merit scholarship when you’re first admitted. I ended up getting a (small) scholarship at the start of my M2 year.

You absolutely still have a chance to get in! They really keep going over apps and the waitlist is more common than acceptances, so it’s a good place to be.

Got accepted last night. Interviewed 11/15 I believe and got waitlisted like a week later. Stats are 515 MCAT 3.71 GPA, non traditional engineering applicant and IS.
