I got it and haven't submitted my secondary.... yet ;D
Me too, haven’t submitted my secondary yet. I saw the tracker and got discouraged. I don’t know if it’s worth it to still submit secondary at this point.

Wayne state interviews like 1300 applicants (or 1400?). They just got to 800-900 invites. They will have plenty more IIs to send

Does anyone have a strong opinion about attending events like these / if it effects chances for a II? Wayne’s is full but I’m generally curious.

Alternate category post interview - does this mean WL?

well they do interview a ton of people and according to MSAR they waitlisted 600 and accepted 300 off of that so take that as you will

This doesn’t make sense to me tbh. They initially will accept 300 to fill their class and MSAR is telling me they all rejected and 300 people came off the waitlist?

Can you get rejected off the WL until July, or only after July can you get rejected? I don't know how WL works. Need to prepare my heart...
From the looks of previous years, they don't seem to reject off of the waitlist until end of the cycle. Could be wrong though. There were also people last year who were accepted 10 days after being waitlisted.

So Wayne accepts A LOT from OOS. But for a lot of OOS students, going to Wayne isn’t really worth the tuition in comparison to their state schools for example, so they may just withdraw their acceptance. Last year, about 400 students out of 700 students withdrew their applications for a total of ~300 student class. So yeah that is kind of the case but not like instantly. Hopefully that answers the question

idk dude just repeating what the site said. although a lot of people did say they were on the WL last year and they never got off

If you care to share, what are ya’lls stats like on WL? I have an interview coming up, OOS w super strong state ties.

Is the waitlist completely random? Or do they re-review applicants/have them ranked for acceptance when they look to pull students off.

Just curious because the email says there’s no rank list, but others are saying you can get off the waitlist in 10 days, which to me does not seem like they randomly accept off the waitlist? Maybe I’m overthinking this.

Okay, I received a WL as well. I was feeling really bummed, but after seeing how many others received the same email I feel way better.
