For those who sent update letters, did you receive email confirmation? When I go to my portal under "communication status", it does say "email received", followed by a number, on the date I sent my update letter.

I got the "email received" followed by the number. I don't think I got confirmation ...

just the automatic reply of " Thank you for your email. If you are a current SKMC applicant, and have provided us with an update to your application, please check the student portal, communication status. This will confirm that we received your update, and that it has been added to your file. Please allow 10 days for confirmation." Got this on the 8th of this month so it's been around 11 days
 
For those that got accepted, will paying the $100 deposit fee confirm your enrollment? I paid it and am just realizing whether it was a final commitment...

According to their website they interview til the end of february. When I checked this week there were 3 or 4 dates left available. I don’t think they’re done but it’ll prob be given out more sparsely over the next few months

Well, if they’ve offered admission there’s also just fewer seats to compete with. But some schools release dates when interviewers become available/when slots open up. I had a school that had no in-person interview options for months, but when I asked via email they had a few open slots in 3 weeks. I’m not sure how this school does things specifically though.

Possibly, I believe they have a specific schedule (every Wednesday) but maybe they’ll open up more slots in March later on. Someone in last years thread got a II in February and I think a few in Jan or Dec. Plus if later interviews end up cancelling (bc it’s in person) that’ll open up slots for others too.

For anyone still waiting to hear back I’d def recommend sending updates or letters of interest.
 
Would it seem desperate if I sent a letter of intent to SKMC after my interview but before a decision? For reference, I interviewed 11/1.

Same interview date and scenario. I was thinking the same, but a current student told me most students do it right after the interview. I feel like now it’s too late
 
Niche question, but I've heard they at least give out interviews to all Delaware residents Is there any truth to this? Any Delaware residents get rejected pre II?
 
Has anyone submitted update letters? I received a PDF “outline for email communications” but it says:

“When submitting more than one document please combine all to make one. Your opening
email statement as lead, following up with your attachments.”

I’m confused. Do we send 1 email with 1 attachment? Or are they wanting us to send 1 intro email and 1 follow-up with attachments only (2 total)?

I sent them an update via email where I provided my name/amcas id and added the update letter as a pdf attachment to the same email. i got an auto response from them and it was reflected in my portal under the communication status a couple of days later.
 
10/18 interviewees, tomorrow is the 6-week mark! Do you think they'll tell us their decision tomorrow? Are any of you planning to call them if they don't contact you by a certain time?

Idk… been feeling kinda hopeless ever since the last batch of acceptances, not sure if we have any chances at this point 🙁 would love to be proven wrong tho, if anyone got As post 4 weeks of interview lmk 🙁(

I didn't even send my update as a PDF, just as a regular email with the subject line they said to use, and it was added to my portal.

Interviewed 10/25 but hopeful we’ll hear back soon.

This is week 6 tho so we likely hear something back this week.

If I remember correctly they told us to email if we don’t hear anything after 6 weeks right?

has anyone interviewing this wednesday received details on their accommodation and reimbursement plans?
