OOS II today, LM 73, heavy research. I am actually in shock this was such an out there reach
I think it was sent by vivid nightmare in the middle of night with a cryptic symbol drawn in blood above your bed.To the people who go the rejection, was it sent by email?
Awesome! When did you submit your secondary?OOS II today, LM 73, heavy research. I am actually in shock this was such an out there reach

Anyone else also complete in july but still haven't heard anything back - no II, R, or hold?

They sent that they met about me about a week and a half after my interviewDoes anyone know when the admissions team reviews interviews? Is it the week after?
Thanks! Does sending a LOI before they meet matters or can you send it whenever? They sent that they met about me about a week and a half after my interview

fr? dang I didn't get a notebook 😳 But the information session was pretty chill. I don't think you would need to prepare anythingFor those who have already interviewed, is there anything I should know before going into the information session this Monday? just want to be mentally prepared. Also, I received a notebook with their logo on it in the mail yesterday, thought it was very nice of them

What is this?Did anyone else get a review complete email? I nearly had a heart attack when it showed up in my inbox lol
intent or interest? if intent then anytimefor LOI when would be a good time to send, I have my II with them this week and this is my top choice for the cycle
intent, probs will send a week or so after the interview. Congrats on the insane cycle btw, see you on most of these threads with helpful infointent or interest? if intent then anytime
Thank you. Keep in mind you go to committee and get scored about a week after your interview. So, if you're trying to get the most bang for your buck, I would send within four to five days just to make sure it gets in before they meet.intent, probs will send a week or so after the interview. Probably got a lil stress test buddy I'm sure you did well and I would be so shocked if any admissions committee in the country was voting on your final admissions decision without taking everything into account, including your metricsDoes anyone know if the admissions committee is blinded to our non-most meaningful activities and GPA and MCAT when they vote? I know the interviewers were blinded to lots of things, including those elements, and one of my interviewers made some comments that suggested he made various assumptions about me that were wildly inaccurate. For instance, he insinuated I have a low GPA and MCAT (I don't). I'm kind of hoping he gets to read my full file (at least all my activities) before voting so that my application can be seen in context.
I believe they have access to GPA and MCAT after the interview is overDoes anyone know if the admissions committee is blinded to our non-most meaningful activities and GPA and MCAT when they vote? Not really. But it can take different shapes and forms. One of my interviewers seemed to be in a bit of a hurry and asked questions really fast, wanting me to answer fast. It felt like the interview was rushed but it actually took the whole 30 min. That could have been a form of stress test, who knowsDid you get a stress test too
there have been plenty of Rs posted already. I’m in same boat as you with an early august app and am not very hopeful of a IIDoes mayo send out rejections or usually just ghost people? I was complete 7/27 and didn’t get an II. I’m just trying to gauge whether I should consider it as a soft R
Unfortunately... many turn into R's... but it isn't an outright "no..." Best of luck.On hold, OOS complete 7/28. Is this a soft R like other schools?
Mine has said that for 15 weeks! My status in the portal has read “ready for review” for nearly 6 weeks. Has anyone had this same message?
Hi friends! Any lower stat applicants that submitted in July get rejected from Mayo yet? MCAT 512 or lower specifically.
Or...they liked you so much and wanted the student to love you too so they have a few tips because literally none of us are going to be perfect and there's always ways to improveJust had my faculty interview today and I guess it was bad because my interviewer gave me tips and areas to improve for my student interview. Has anyone else experienced this? 🙁
Toastedbutter coming in clutch with the words of affirmation thank you broOr...they liked you so much and wanted the student to love you too so they have a few tips because literally none of us are going to be perfect and there's always ways to improve
My friend has a 516 and was rejected months ago; I think you are still in the running!I would like to know this as well, I have a 515 and haven’t heard anything and at this point I’m not too hopeful but it’s not an R 🙂
Are they pretty close to being done interviewing here? Really hoping for one as it’s my top school but have heard literally nothing so far complete end of July
Highly doubt they are done interviewing as they interview like 750 ppl according to MSAR. It seems this cycle every thing is pushed back a little bit to me as wellAre they pretty close to being done interviewing here? Mayo loves its letter of interest/Intent: if it is a top 3 choice for you send a LO interest and if it is your top choice send a LO of intentplaced on hold here, anyone know if we can do anything? Should I send an update letter?
When would it be ideal to send a letter of interest/intentMayo loves its letter of interest/Intent: if it is a top 3 choice for you send a LO interest and if it is your top choice send a LO of intent
On the website though, it says they only accept significant update letters post interview? Would it be bad if I sent one now -- it doesn't explicitly discourage against?Mayo loves its letter of interest/Intent: if it is a top 3 choice for you send a LO interest and if it is your top choice send a LO of intent
I sent a pre interview letter of interest and got a interview (causation vs correlation so not definitive) but I say if you can weave a letter of interest with an update letter, then it cant hurt.On the website though, it says they only accept significant update letters post interview?
