Let’s start listing those area codes the A calls came from. I know it’s med students. But we are bored here and anxious!
Hmmm, I think that's probably not a good idea. People keep their phone numbers when they move out of state, so those area codes are potentially identifiable information.

Feeling the same way. At least there seem to be a lot of us in this boat?
I saw on cycle track that several people reported Rs yesterday… but idk if those are still rolling out. Also dk if those of us in limbo are just gonna be WL’d or deferred then. The wait sucks lol

I think the Rs yesterday were mostly pre-II Rs, not people who interviewed last month (although maybe those also went out). I think we just have to sit tight and wait until Monday, unless we get a call before then. I was ok when we didn't know when the decisions would come out, but knowing they're going out and sitting with a silent phone is not a good feeling. It ups the anxiety on an already stressful process, but I also get they want to give the callers flexibility. Nothing to do but wait and try to take our minds off of it for now (easier said than done).
you’re right i totally forgot about the pre-II Rs that some ppl posted abt yesterday. well i wish you the best of luck, hopefully we get those calls soon

oos acceptance received today, interviewed 10/19 hell yea!!!! received via a call and text from a current student

if its motivating to anyone, i thought i flopped like 2 of the mmi stations yall got this 🫡🫡
hellll yeahh!! when did you get the call?

OOS A today, interviewed early October !! My friend at Michigan med was the one who called me - they said they’d known since Friday but were working and couldn’t call until today - just as a heads up / encouragement to folks still waiting ♥️

you’re an angel thank u!! and congratulations :,)))

deferred decision received via email just now. anyone know how realistic it is to get in after this?
Also wondering this. They specifically say it's not a waitlist, but I have no idea what that means. Does it mean they didn't have time to go through our application in front of the committee? Most of the acceptances in this thread seem to be from the earlier interview date, but I'm completely guessing here. Realistically, I think it means they haven't decided whether to A or WL but would appreciate if anyone knows what the odds of getting an A are from this.

A this morning as well despite no call! Sorry to those that got deferred, I know a few people who got A's on later dates after being deferred even later on and its still just the second A weekend so there's many more A possibilities after being deferred 🙂

Are interviews done being sent out?
Pretty sure they continue their Monday invites through January but they will skip a week or two over Christmas break. They seem to invite a small number each Monday - about 15.

Hi friends! Current M1 at UMich here - wanted to wish you all the best of luck in your app process! I didn't get my II until end of November, interviewed in January, so for those of you who haven't gotten an II there is still hope!!

For those of you admitted / interviewing soon - GO BLUE!! We are SO excited to get to know you! Please feel free to message me at any time if you have questions 🙂
