Does this school normally respond well to update letters?
Idk about responding well but they seemed to be encouraging of them! At the coffee hour the guy said that they welcome any update that you believe will strengthen your application / competitiveness, even if it's general update about the continuation of your activities

Does anyone who's already interviewed know if they take update letters post-interview? Don't seem to recall hearing anything during the presentations.

they want them uploaded by the day of / after your interview, after that they won’t carry much weight

Damn, it's been like 2 weeks for me. Was hoping to update closer to October, but should've done it earlier

Did anyone get a reply from their interviewers after sending a thank you letter

Did they tell you who your interviewers were beforehand as well?
Nope. I found out while I was waiting for them to log on, a few minutes before the scheduled time. It still gave me a few mins to look them up, which helped at least know the face I'd be expecting to see lol You do see both names listed, so you will know who your second interviewer is when you find out the first if that makes sense!

Does anyone know if they'll start sending A's right on 10/15? Anxious to hear back already lol

Only got it from one of them! Not reading too much into it tbh because it probably has no impact, sent them mostly bc I felt like I had good conversations with them.

Damn, I had good conversations with them, but no response😭

for those of you who have interviewed so far--any curveball questions? or mainly just traditional interview?

No crazy questions, but really, really know your entire app inside out! Both my interviewers asked about a random 5-word phrase I had in one of my activities so anything you have in your app is fair game lol

Anyone complete around mid to end of July hear back anything yet?

based on what i’ve seen, though, i don’t think any school goes strictly by submission date. schools can sort/divide up apps by any way, whether it’s from high stat to low stat, alphabetical by last name, alphabetical by first name, or any other way we haven’t thought of.
With @Goro ... we told you so... and yes, you can't guess the ways I have sorted applicants for fairness sake. 🙂

Indeed. Applications are not reviewed upon order of receipt. There are many different factors which can get applications moved to the top of the queue.

For those who interviewed, does anyone know when and how we can expect to hear back? I forgot to ask that question during interview day

They didn't give a date. So I'm guessing they go with the traditional timeline of starting to send decisions 10/15 like other schools may, but that's just my guess. Would be interested in hearing any other opinions because I'd love to know as well!

Did anyone who interviewed already hear anything about whether they encourage/want update letters or not, and by when?

I had such a stoic interviewer and the second interview I had a technical issue. Definitely a sad experience, so not hopeful. However, I cannot seem to shut my brain off completely from anticipating the results.
I keep hearing stories of people getting in after thinking their interviews went poorly, hang in there!

+1, felt awful after one of the interviews
