I'm assuming an early oct (week of 10/1) interview is too early to get a pre-match?

I don’t think it is. Scrolling through last year’s threads for Texas schools it seems like some people who interviewed around then also got pre-matches. Not 100% sure though.

How are prematches typically distributed? Are they heavily concentrated on the first day and sprinkled out over the next few weeks?

Prematch offers can be made any time between now and January, and they tend to go out in little batches after periodic admissions committee meetings to discuss recent interviewees.

** heading off the next question, I don't know the meeting schedule frequency of any of the TMDSAS schools. 🙁

Dang didn't get a prematch (9/8 interview). Is McGovern prematch-heavy?

@wysdoc for TMDSAS pre-match offers, we can accept every one we receive, correct? like by accepting I'm not committing to McGovern already (though I'd be happy to do so if that's how the cookie crumbles!!)

That's right, you can accept any and all, for now, and line them up the way you want for your Match Day ranking.

If you get so many that you are sure you will rank one at the bottom, you also have the option of turning an offer down. I have seen some applicants do this, a little later in the cycle, when they have many prematch offers.

did anyone get scholarship offers with their prematches? They typically give scholarships after Match Day right?
