I submitted earlier and I got an email that it was submitted

OOS secondary received today

When I was in the portal, the letters of rec section was not there at all and it even allowed me to submit. However, when I went back in to the portal about half an hour later, there was a letters of rec section that says it is not filled out and will not let me fill it out. I don't want them to think I don't have any. Would it be best if I email or call them and let them know what happened?

I already submitted unfortunately, so it won’t let me change. It is just so weird that it wasn’t even a sidebar option when I was filling the whole thing out.

Can someone post the secondaries and their word count?
1. Please prepare an essay that explains why you want to participate in the Synergistic Guided Learning curriculum (OR PBL if you choose PBL) and why you are a good fit for this curricular track.
2. How did you learn about osteopathic medicine and why is it a good fit for you?
3. Explain why you are interested in attending Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine:
4. We seek to train physicians who can connect with diverse patient populations with whom they may not share a similar background. Tell us about an experience that has broadened your own worldview or enhanced your ability to understand those unlike yourself and what you learned from it.
5. Please describe any significant barriers or challenges you may have overcome in the pursuit of your personal/professional goals

No word limits from what I can tell

Also, how are you guys picking between PBL and SGL? There seems to be a lot of merit to each approach and based on the descriptions on their website I can't decide which to select as my preference

If I pick a preference for SGL, do I have to put "highly interested" in the next question? Or can I just say "interested" for both?

did you attend the webinar where they discussed them

They sent out links of the recorded webinars which helped me articulate my reasons!

If you don't choose "highly interested" for either of them, I don't think it gives you space to write an essay on why you chose that program (but I could be wrong). Imo it might not come off great if you're not highly interested in either of the tracks and may display an overall lack of interest.

You're probably right

for the "Please identify your area of professional interest below (i.e. Family Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, etc.)" question, are we just listing the specialty, or writing paragraph(s) to explain and elaborate?

I also got a complete and under review email! Gonna stalk last years thread to see when they start sending out II

If people don't mind sharing, how many words/characters did you aim for? I'm trying to keep my secondary answers to under 2000 characters.

i wrote what felt right and for me that ended up being 300-500 words for all the prompts

Did anyone schedule a meeting to review competitiveness of their application and if so how’d it go? Wondering if it would be useful post secondary submission.
