Is it still early if we have not have received an interview? Should I be worried? (submitted secondary on 7/28)

WSU ends up interviewing about half of applicants and sends IIs into January. I wouldn’t be worried yet.

I also have not heard back yet but WSU does a lot of things differently, the biggest being stat blind admission and giving strong preference to mission groups (rural, indigenous, underserved).

Thinking the same thing with an early–mid August submission and WSU as my top choice. They seem to send updates bi-weekly and are getting into the August submissions, so just gotta hang in there and trust the process!! Best of luck!

Thanks! I got it this morning around 9:30 am. From what I've seen through Admit (a med school cycle tracker), they are sent at the same time. Usually on Wednesdays, but over the past three weeks, it has been on Thursday before 10 am. Another thing that helped ease my mind is that they are going through them numerically, besides one outlier.

Yes, I submitted on 7/15 and got a II on 9/3.

They were very adamant about interviewing all the way until march and they don’t fill their class until everyone has interviewed - there’s still hope, hang in there!

Hard to say. Nothing reported here, admit, or cycle track, though compared to a lot of schools it’s a very small sample size. I find it hard to believe that everyone here that got an “eligible” email though missed the first round, id have to imagine at least someone would get a decision
