Anyone else having difficulties with choosing case vs cheaper state school (U Iowa)? My state school is about ~19k/year less (thanks to generous financial aid). I want to let go of case as an option (and will have to by tomorrow if I do) but I loved case and I really really want to go there. I think I would feel stupid no matter what decision I make, either go in a lot of debt, or give up a chance at a school that I think is incredible. Anyone else feel that they are in a real conundrum? 😕
Btw, I received around ~14k in grants from case too.
I feel ya. I am in kind of the same boat. I was also accepted at a state school (Ucincy and Toledo). Ucincy is a great school with a brand new building, but in my eyes Case tops them.
And honestly, I'm not too worried about the debt. Either way it is a massive investment and i don't want to have any regrets at all like i did for my undergrad. For me, i am going to the school i like best regardless of cost (within limits). Is case worth 20k (+ interest) more a year to you?
You will get a great medical education at either school. But in the end, it is up to you.
