I don't care about the 3000th post. I want the 10,000th post. 😎First
To my fellow SDNers...
As we approach the all-time reply record for the School Specific forum (currently held by the now-closed Univ. of Arizona thread at 2994) AND The 3000th Post, I thought I would should lay down some ground rules:
Well, the most famous one is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. MOCA (the art museum) is also a good choice. The Botanical Gardens is nice, though not so much this time of year. But if you want a funky museum that's of interest to premeds and won't be on the typical Cleveland museum junket, try Dittrick Medical History museum, which is in the Allen library on the Case campus. If they're still running the contraception exhibit, it's a little scary and pretty cool at the same time. Plus, it's free.Second
I am looking for interesting things to do in Cleveland the weekend of the 8th. If anybody knows of interesting things going on, please let me know! Also, does anyone have the scoop on good museums to hit up while in town?
Thanks!
See above. Except for the Rock and Roll Hall, they're all on or near the Case campus.I'm getting there at 1 Sunday and really want to see the town and hear more about the school. What do you guys recommend I do that afternoon - on my own if I can't find someone to take me under their feathery wing?
On a completely different subject, I got an email asking for votes to help the Case emergency department win research money from a video competition, so I figured I'd post the link here too in case some of you have time and want to help Case win. They're in fourth place right now out of 12 finalists. If you want to help, go to this site and vote for Case. You can vote more than once, and you can vote every day until the competition ends on January 22.
