Haha, ummm yeah... 3rd time applying, I'm getting in this time, even if it kills me 😉 Which, filling out all of those secondaries almost did...

Many people who are small pooled get interviews, but there are people from last year's thread who were small pooled early on and heard absolutely nothing until the end of the admissions cycle. I think I may have been small pooled for a few weeks before my interview invite came.

Is it bad to be small pooled "too early"? I remember reading somewhere that alot of people who got small pooled "early" really never got out of the pool or have I completely lost my mind?

Hey, I have a question about the prompt. How many characters are we allowed? When I put my mouse over it, it says 1500 characters. But I checked and posted a longer essay (around 2500 character) and it still fit. So which is it?

Honestly, it's whatever fits in your form...in a reasonable size font. My first was one 1100, and my 2nd one was 1500 characters with space. I was small pooled.

So weird that no one on SDN has been invited for an interview...and they "start interviewing in September"

Hey all -just received the "pool" email. Complete 7/28 and Primary Screening on 8/3. Has anyone received anything different so far? Interviews, rejections? It seems everyone that is sharing has received the pool email...
 
so here's a dumb question... if I want to address the school of medicine, which one would it be:

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science
Rosalind Franklin University School of Medicine
Rosalind Franklin University Chicago Medical School
Rosalind Franklin University Medical School
The Chicago Medical School

😕 ???? Honestly, the name changes between pages on their website so I'm kinda confused... or just dumb

I don't think any interviews have gone out. Someone would have posted. And I was complete back on Aug 2nd, submitted sometime like 7/20 and haven't heard anything back yet so I wouldn't worry.

Ya, I was pooled on the 4th of August after being screened for a few weeks, so no need to freak out JUST yet...
 
Last year interviews came out on Sept. 4th. I think many schools are overwhelmed by amount of early applicants this year...hopefully we won't have to wait longer than sept 4th though
 
I have been pooled today. Seems like a lot of places are sending a bunch of communication today.

not for me... 🙁 it's a good thing I got an interview invite yesterday or this would have been a pretty bad week for me..

How long after we reply with interview dates do you think it'll be confirmed? I sent in the reply as soon as I got it yesterday, but I really need to finalize my flight ASAP. Would it be too annoying to call them for confirmation?

I've been considering calling too. I need to change a flight on southwest for my preferred date of interviewing at RFU.
 
These were available to me to choose from:

September 20th
September 22nd;
September 24th;
September 27th;
September 29th;
October 4th;
October 6th;
October 13th;
October 18th;
October 20th;
October 25th;

You're asked to pick your top three choices. I got my first choice, the 27th. I have an experiment running the week before, so I didn't request the first three dates.
