Case does not do silent rejections. I submitted my secondary well before you, and I just got rejected today. It was actually kind of funny, because they sent me an email that said this:
"The Admissions Committee of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine has reviewed your application and has made a decision! Please view the letters posted on your iApply Status page for further details
We thank you for your interest in our School and look forward to meeting you!"
The part where it said "look forward to meeting you" got my hopes up for a minute that I may have gotten an interview invite or something, and then I went and checked the iapply status page like they said and found a rejection later saying "no interview invite" lol. What a tease.

Thanks BB. My uneven MCAT (low verbal score) is my weakest link this app cycle, though I've never once been told that my communication skill is lacking or my reasoning ability weak. Could be just a fluke on test day. Hope my S in writing makes up for it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for CP and more interviews.
From what I've gathered from Myuu and others, the admissions committee at Case really do a diligent job of reviewing apps and notifying applicants of their status through emails. You probably have a sense of their comprehensive review system just by the sheer volume of information on their application website. I understand how you and many others feel about waiting and checking your emails every hour on the hour for medschool news only to be saddened by spam or worse, rent and credit card bills.
Case does not make or issue decisions in chronological order of completed applications, so don't worry too much if people's completion dates don't line up with yours.

I don't know what they do on the UP side, but CCLCM distributes its apps to several reviewers to be read and scored. As you can imagine, some reviewers are more prompt about getting through their stack of apps than others are. So it's completely possible that someone who submitted their app after you did might hear back before you do based on how quickly the reviewers read them.
