I had a question about the status page. Mine recently changed from "thank you for submitting and we will review your application.. blah blah blah" and now it simply has a section for update materials and not much else. Anyone have any insight into what this means? I assume they made a decision but have not received an email or any notification. Anyone have any experience with this?

Well mine did that too and i got the rejection email today so that should be that.

Waited for the letter but it was worth it. first Acceptance!!

I received their Christmas card yesterday. No wonder tuition is so high! They probably send these cards to all their current and also accepted students.

Kidding!

It was really nice to have a school do that. No other school has sent me a card.
 
I interviewed on 11/30 and want to update my application with some volunteer activities I will be involved with during my school's winter break. Has anyone updated their application post-interview? I'm assuming I just upload materials on the secondary application web page.

I updated mine post interview using the upload materials page. However, I would wait until you have actually done them to update your application.
 
rejected pre-interview. completed secondary 7/5, no interview.

oos 32/3.6+, nontrad

Hmm the thing is I'll be doing the volunteer stuff early January (have already confirmed the dates) and by that time I'm assuming the admissions committee will have already reviewed my application...
 
This school definitely had the best interview experience I have had thus far. Interviewed on 12/8.
 
Creighton seems to be receptive to LOIs. Who should I address mine too?
Complete 9/5. 3.45 cGPA 36Q MCAT NY. I haven't been rejected yet and it looks like some people complete around the same time have been. Should I call in and ask about my status as well? Any thought would be helpful. I'm getting so antsy!!
 
Rejected pre-interview via email on 12/6.

Complete on 10/11.

you should address it to the dean of admissions. you want him to read it.
 
Accepted! 😀 Received the letter in the mail today. I interviewed on 11/2. Good luck to everyone still waiting to find out! :luck:
 
has anyone heard back from the 11/10 group?
 
they have open door policy and you can call them on thursday between 1-4 pm and they can discuss your application . this will confirm your interest also in the school.

they have open door policy and you can call them on thursday (1-4 pm ) and they can discuss your application and can tell you any concernswhich you can clear up. This also will confirm your interest in the school.

Recommend this to those who have been complete for a while now and not rejected. I called to find out that they we're holding my application to the January review and spent some time expressing my interest in the school and addressing the weakness on my application that the committee felt as well. I got an interview invite ~3 weeks later, sometime in early
December...

Thank you so much tian and BayAreaKid!! I will definitely do this on Thursday. Is this on their website somewhere? Or did you hear about from someone at Creighton? Can you please link it if its on the website? Can't seem to find it. Thanks again!!!
 
accepted today via snail mail... interviewed early november... VERY happy and excited to know that i will be going to med school next year! best of luck everyone!

Wonderful! Congratulations!!! Were you 11/02, 11/03, 11/09, or 11/10? Or none of the above? Do they really only give you 10 days to accept?

hey i was 11/2 .... and yikes i wasn't even home so i gotta actually read my letter tomorrow and get cracking getting everything sent out!

Thanks for the reply! I am nervous about being out of town when they send their decision! That's awesome...it seems like Creighton's admissions people are right on time. I wonder how the upcoming holidays are going to affect the timing for the 11/09 and 11/10 interviews.
 
i interviewed on 11/16, and admissions just told me over the phone that the committee would be meeting on 1/7 to discuss my round of interviews. so maybe yours will still be before christmas? lucky!

Just called in to check my status change and.... .... Accepted!! Interviewed 11/10, OOS
 
Out of curiosity, did anyone else receive a Happy Holidays from Creighton email today?
It asked me to send in updates through their admissions website and not to email them during the holiday break
 
I came on here to see if anyone else got it...so yes! It was very nice to hear that the admissions committee hasn't forgotten about us!
 
I got it too, and I was already accepted. Trust me, Creighton, I am not sending in any updates.
 
Lol.

I got the message too, and I'm wondering if I should update them on a new job I got working on a surgery/gynecology floor.. Of course after January 2nd or whatever date that e-mail said. I'm still pre-interview, sadly though.

i interviewed 11/10, and noticed on thursday that my LOR checklist had disappeared. there was no email. i called the office the next day and they gave me some great news! :woot: they also said the letter was going to be mailed out.

if your LORs have disappeared, maybe you can call in on jan 2nd 🙂 good luck! you, of course, can always wait for the letter.
 
Interviewed 11/09

Low MCAT (<30), high GPA (>3.8), lots of ECs.

Accepted 12/21.
 
Congrats to all those who are in. It's a great school, I just finished my first semester there and loved it. Great people, great times. You won't be disappointed
 
So quiet...Anyone know how much of the class Creighton accepted already?

I interviewed on this day also! So do you think we will actually hear back from them tomorrow??
